Our cosmetic dentist provides a full array of dental services to help you maintain healthy teeth. Cosmetic fillings -- Alternative, natural-looking materials to conventional silver-colored fillings made from porcelain and composite resins, which are colored to match natural tooth enamel. Teeth Whitening/Bleaching -- Procedures that reverse the effects of such things as aging, food and tobacco stains, and medication use.
Complex dental cases can take many months for a dentist with special training to complete. In fact, challenging cases requires a special skillset from a dentist, they should have firm grasp of occlusion (proper chewing function), esthetics, material science, and dental implants. The more complex your case, the longer the process usually takes.
Before the development of dental implants, dentures were the only alternative to replacing a missing tooth or teeth for our Honolulu and Oahu patients. Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone or metal framework on the bone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge.
Severe teeth problems can occur from decades of improper bite fucntionality. Without correcting or improving this function problem, any cosmetic dental work may fail prematurely. I worked for Dr. Okuda for almost 3 years and I can honestly say that it was the best workplace I’ve ever worked at. If I wasn’t moving to another state, I would surely still be there. I have learned so much from the short time I was there and have grown in so many ways. I love the people I worked with and will miss them so much. AMAZING 10 STAR EXPERIENCE. You would not find a better dental team than the one at the Okuda office! A few years ago, my mom had her 4 front teeth knocked out and I had to find her a dentist that was an expert in cosmetic dentistry because my mom already had porcelains done before. I've been seeing Dr. Okuda for over a year. My actual treatment started in November of 2020 and my experience has been nothing but AMAZING. The service is PHENOMENAL and their employees are EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Prior to starting my journey with Dr. Okuda, I had major anxiety for many reasons. My experience with Dr. Okuda and his team has been nothing short of perfection. Dr Okuda is a perfectionist. His attention to detail and meticulousness is unparalleled. Two of my family members received porcelain veneers from Dr Okuda 20 years ago and they still look impeccable. Dr. Okuda was absolutely amazing, he did a perfect job on my teeth. If you have bad anxiety or you are scared of the dentist like me, Dr. Okuda knows how to calm you down, make you feel safe, and that everything will be fine. But besides how wonderful he is and everyone that works with him in his office, his work was absolutely phenomenal, I went from having shark teeth, with a missing tooth and bucked teeth, to having a full bright beautiful smile.
