The good times roll year-round in downtown Sayner at the Sayner Pub, a full-service sports bar offering a complete menu of sandwiches, salads, pizzas and burgers. It also has a fantastic Friday fish fry! Established in 1945, the Sayner Pub also offers a full-service bar known for its specialty drinks, including fantastic 22-ounce bloody marys that don't skimp on the garnish.

Bands and solo musicians put on weekend shows in the summer, and 12 flat-screen televisions keep sports fans up to date on their favorite teams. The pub is the place to be during football games. Take-out orders are welcome, and many groups rent the pub's extra dining room for special meetings, events and parties.

Our group of 6 arrived about 4:30pm expecting to have to wait. The bar was full and the parking lot was too. We walked to the hostess and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. Our waitress was wonderful from start to end. Our old fashioned drinks were top notch. The food was fabulous too. We will definitely be back!

Visited twice over the weekend and both experiences were great. The pizza is fantastic, the beer garden was perfect on a beautifulafternoon, but most importantly the staff is attentive, friendly and hard working and that starts at the top. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, "Liebo", and he is incredibly generous and responsive and a really nice guy! Keep up the great work and thanks again!

Living in Wisconsin for most of my life, pizza is part of the culture. Living out of State now, I miss a good thin crust pizza! Visiting the North Woods I knew I had to enjoy some pizza and from times past, we chose Sayner Pub. Arriving shortly before noon to avoid the lunch crowd, we were seated right away. Our server was very pleasant and took our drink orders while we decided on our food. We decided two pizzas were needed to give us plead leftovers to enjoy the next day. We also had one order for the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. The pizza and chicken arrived within a reasonable amount

This is the classic that you remember from way back when. It's sometimes busy and service suffers, but that's too be expected in the high season. When you do get your seat, enjoy the super friendly staff and good food. The bloody is top notch. They are very accommodating, food and drinks can be made to go.

We took a Londoner to enjoy the finest North Woods atmosphere and cuisine! Sampled monster Mary's with a PBR beer back, fried everything -- mushrooms, walleye bobbers, wings, cheese curds. And the classic brandy old fashioned sour! Staff was super nice and helpful. Loved the ambiance.

OMG, the BEST Whiskey old fashion press I have EVER had (sorry about like whiskey, not brandy). And our pizza was amazing. The service was outstanding. Only a 15 minutes from our house, we will definitely be back more often!

Great food, great service, great place! Food is fresh. My brother and I had the Super Reuben and it was the best Reuben we have ever had. Mom and dad both had great meals.
