I was really impressed with the service and the food was pretty good was rather upset with the fact that I had to change my son's diaper on a wet sink because there was no changing tables in the bathroom.

While the restaurant has great scenery and the overall ambiance was good, the meal I had was one of the worst ever. I had blackened shrimp and I'm pretty sure it was frozen and then microwaved but if not it was extremely over cooked. And, it wasn't cheap for 5 shrimp and a small potato. I wouldn't go back.

Nice atmosphere, good service. They might as well take the Coquille St jacques off the menu, it was terrible. We let them know but no offer to offset the 32 dollar fee.
Stuffed salmon was ok. Ahi tuna was good but served as a big slab.Salad and soup good.

My husband and I frequently try supper clubs all over the state. This is, by far, the worst restaurant we have ever been to. The complimentary bread is not fresh and somewhat hard/stale. They were out of mozzarella sticks immediately upon opening on a Friday night. We both ordered steaks. My husband requested rare, I requested medium. Mine came rare and his came medium. When we brought it up to the waitress, she offered to "throw it back on the grill" but offered nothing to my husband whose was overcooked. When she brought my steak back, it was so tough that it was not edible. Both steaks were

First time here! We were glad Kate was our server. The Filet and prime were perfectly done with mushrooms on top. Needed a steak rub or something. The cheese curds were a little rubbery. The rest if the meal was just fabulous and hands down, this place had the best ambiance. It is my new go to place. The Grasshopper topped it off as the best so far! Try the cranberry mule! I had two!

Make a reservation if you'd like to eat here. We were lucky to get a table in the bar area on a Wednesday evening without a reservation. Our server's name was Katie who was an excellent server. We both ordered the prime rib which was very good. Be sure to save room for an ice cream drink!

*Must stop in the area with the most spectacular property, lakeview and pines in the Northwoods! The atmosphere is wonderful and the building is awesome. One of the best old fashioned in the area and a reasonable price! The Perch dinner was awesome but the best meal we the stuffed Salmon - this is next level and our group will be sure to order that next time! Be sure to call for a reservations a day or two ahead of time.

Nice bar. Service was pretty good. They were slow to greet and seat at time of reservation, so tried to make it ip with a “complementary appetizer” which was a plate of scraps from a salad bar, which was a bit strange. Food was pretty good, not outstanding. Live music outside was nice. Overall good experience.

Norwood Pines always did a good job in the past... not sure what's going on there now. We are here twice this week; had the fish fry last Friday and while last year we thought it was the best ever, we found this meal relatively tasteless. Hush-puppies were tiny and overdone, the fish tasteless. Decided to try again with friend on Thursday night for dinner off the regular menu. 2 special Salmon dishes, shrimp and ribs, fried Walleye... all arrived lukewarm at best and we never saw our server again until it was time to ask if we had room for dessert. When we commented on the lukewarm and mostly

We really wanted to like this place :( we're trying out new restaurants besides our usual go-to spots while visiting up North. The atmosphere and venue is fun and lively.

We ordered Norwood pine cones and homemade onion rings to start. The pine cones are fried mashed potato balls and needed salt/more flavor in general. The onion rings were plentiful, thin, and crispy. I guess they also serve a complimentary appetizer of the day, which was a plate of cheese spread, tortilla chips, and pasta salad. The combination was a little weird and the pasta salad was meh. I really liked the cheese spread

On 6/23/21 we celebrated our 60th anniversary at Norwood Pines. Our entire family of 22, coming from 6 different states, had family pictures taken on their beautiful grounds before our dinner. We were able to set up the entire evening by phone from Ohio so when we arrived in Minocqua and checked in with them all was ready. We ordered off the menu so everyone got what they wanted. The service by Leslie and Paige and a large supporting cast was excellent. The food, as always, was great. We appreciated being seated in their large screened in porch area and especially that they arranged reservations

Classic North woods supper club. Very old school architecture and decor. The staff was wonderful, warm welcoming folks but it looks like they did not have any busers so everyone was going double duty.

The cheese curds were average, so you could pass that. They do have a complimentary chip cheese and pasta salad appetizer. Which was good, the cheese did especially.

The walleye was very good, the tuna was also very good. The shrimp was average. The twice baked potatoes were also very good. Salads were small but above average and the bread was good.

Overall I would come back. Price was

My wife and I spent a week in Minocqua visiting my wife's father. He lives on Patricia Lake just across the water from Norwood Pines. This past Friday night, all three of us boarded his pontoon boat and docked at Norwood Pines for a 5:30pm dinner reservation. As we made our way from the dock to the restaurant, we were so impressed with the exterior surroundings of this gem. At the front of the establishment, we noticed new stone tile that was currently being placed in front of the restaurant making this gorgeous frontage even more pleasing to the eyes. Upon entry, we were greeted by the hosts

Phenomenal as per usual- we never leave disappointed. Service is always wonderful but the food is truly spectacular. Tommy makes the best drinks. Try the ribs naked with sauce on the side. Mother-in-law had salmon salad, father-in-law had veal Oscar, aunt had steak. All just delicious.

What a beautiful location and wonderful atmosphere. Spectacular pines Lakeview and rustic building.
Their secret recipe clam chowder is the best I've ever had, Phenomenal taste. Formerly had a great reputation for their veal dishes, I think they're losing that reputation. I'd stick with steak lobster and other dishes.

My wife and I called on a Thursday for reservations on a Saturday night for a 7:00PM table, we arrived at @ 6:50PM. The hostess had a arrogant attitude and was more concerned with her nails than the customers. We sat at the round table by the bar, there were four ice cream drink glasses at the table along with a used spoon. After about 15 minutes the bartender came to our table, he didn't say a word to use, just took the used glasses, he came back again and took the table cloth and spoon. neither time did he speak to us. Not a word, not "welcome" not "can I get you something

We had dinner there the other day and requested a table outside given the pandemic. They let us to sit on the table on the lawn and provided full menus and bar service. The service was exceptional!!! It's been along time since we have been to a restaurant where they paid so much attention to our dinner party. Emily was incredible. We were so impressed by the service and the hospitality and the food!

We highly recommend this place for an amazing night out!!

First off I really wanted to give this place a better review. I tried calling 4 times to make a reservation and finally gave up. We decided to just try it and see. The hostess said it would be about a 30 min wait so we grabbed a drink and wandered outside. Came back in when it was dark about 40 min later and still waited another 20 min. We didn't have a reservation and they were obviously serving less with their spaced out tables.
The appetizer plate was nice, cheese/crackers/pita/cranberry salsa/bread. Salad was good. The entrees were just so so. I got the prime rib and my husband got the

We were there for the Saturday prime rib. Ordered medium rare. My wife ordered the 8oz I ordered the 12oz. They came out PERFECTLY prepared. Honestly one of the top three prime ribs I ever had. The meat the a'jus was not the typical salty duo.
This was a great meal pared with a wonderful server. Jen was awesome.

My husband and I are really into supper clubs so we just had to visit when we were spending a couple days in Minocqua. It was worth the visit. The place is charming, has a lovely lake view, our waitress was great and the food was wonderful. All in all a great addition to our collection of supper clubs!

This is one of those rare gems in the world of Supper Clubs. Not only is the place a picture perfect postcard but the food is served with a friendly waitress and is excellently prepared.

I went away from the traditional old fashion and had a Long Island Ice Tea. It was so good that I then had a 2nd as we waited for our table. Tom knows what he is doing behind the bar. The views of the water with the pine trees are so peaceful.

Being that it was Friday we both went with the perch plate. 1/2 pound of perfectly fried lake perch at a very fair price. We also had the homemade onion rings (they slice

I was not expecting much going into this, our group picked this place on a "whim". I am so glad we did! This place was located in the middle of a woods and was very lit up at night with Christmas lights, very cool!! Our service (even though was a little slow) was easily made up for by our wonderful server who was about as friendly as they get.

I had the Roasted Duck which was really good and cooked to perfection, I would love to return if I ever make it back in the area to try a few other items on the menu.

highly recommend this place for out of town visitors (or really anyone!)

I want to give this place a better review but there were so many issues. The location, the outside and the inside were all very charming and homey. We had a reservation but after we were sat it took 17 minutes (the boys were occupied with LEGO) until I got up and ask if we could get a drink.

Their old fashion drinks were okay. The food was okay. And dessert was okay. I had the lake perch and it was done nicely but the tartar sauce was bitter. The boys had shrimp off the kids menu. We liked that the dessert menu had lots of options - I got the strawberry crepes but they were not as exciting

Just take a look at the parking lot that was overflowing onto the lawn, and that should tell you a little about the food. Everything was great, and as crazy as this sounds, the deep fried shrimp gets a "best ever" rating (it is delicious fresh shrimp - the kind that's used in good shrimp cocktail - that they hand bread before deep frying.

We had our wedding reception here but make an annual trip in the winter to experience the scenery. One of my favorite spots for Friday Night Fish Fry and a great Old Fashioned.

The lodge style restaurant is so cozy and the tall pines give you such a warm feeling when arriving. Best supper club up north.

The photos from our wedding were so beautiful with the lake out back and the beautiful entrance.

In terms of supper clubs, the atmosphere was right on. Grand entrance on the outside, cozy interior.

Got seated pretty quickly on a Thursday night. Service was slow. Initial drinks were painfully slow...but we didn't abide by the supper club rules by stepping up to the bar initially before being seated, so that was on us.

Rest of the night service was ok. She seemed stressed, busy. And annoyed.

I had the surf and turf with filet mignon and crab legs. Crab legs were good! Nice saltiness throughout. Filet...well, I'm choosy with my beef and I wouldn't choose to eat this again.
