Marcus and team catered our wedding at the Marion Davies Guest House at the Annenberg, chosen from a short list of approved caterers for this venue.
Food was delicious! We received several compliments from our guests many of whom have discerning palates. All ate well and many went back for seconds and even thirds. Lamb chops, crab cakes and sea bass with basil aioli were stars and the gnocchi was devoured!
Tastings - not all caterers oblige or charge a pretty penny. Marcus graciously gave us a test run and it was wonderful to meet and plan with him.
Work style - Marcus is extremely easy

I highly discourage using Feast to cater an event. There is much better quality service and food in LA, the food was no good at all. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the cost, we had bad reviews from our dinner guests as well. We ourselves were very unimpressed with the food and service. We were overcharged for food, drinks and rentals we did not use OR ASK FOR and they charged our account several times without being authorized to do so. I suggest if you do use them be very persistent about what Marcus and members are adding to your account and charging you for because they will try to throw

For our wedding we were connected with Marcus and Feast Catering through a good friend who used to work at the Annenberg Beach House. What a great recommendation!
Marcus sat down with us and was flexible in working with our budget. We really appreciated this. We were able to do a tasting with him, and Marcus was very receptive to feedback. We asked for an Asian influence for the menu and Marcus and his team pulled it off beautifully and creatively. The food was delicious. They arranged a beautiful beet salad that looked great in all the photos. We had soju coconut cocktails. The wines were good

Feast catered my wedding last weekend at the Annenberg Beach House. We selected Feast from a list of pre-approved caterers based on the proposed menu, cost, and Marcus' responsiveness and friendliness. We were blown away by the high level of service throughout the planning process. Marcus returned calls and emails very quickly and was extremely accommodating, wanting to ensure that everything turned out just the way we wanted it. I've worked with Feast twice now and the food and service they provide are absolutely wonderful! The detail of the food presentation and the flavor is everything you would want and expect in a caterer. They pay careful attention to the small details in everything they prepare and this care is evident in the flavor, appearance, and quality of the experience they offer. Feast recently catered our wedding ceremony and did an exemplary job. Our wedding was outside on the beach and the catering team only had access to a very small prep kitchen. They made it work and brought out incredibly delicious food. Our guests could not stop raving about it!

We booked Feast for our wedding and Marcus and his team were an absolute delight to work with. We requested to have Indian food for the wedding as we wanted to incorporate part of my culture into the event and he created a delicious authentic Indian menu that impressed all our guests! We were extremely pleased with his level of professionalism and the enthusiasm shown by all his staff. I would definitely recommend Feast to anyone looking for a stand-out catering team for their special event!

We chose Feast catering for our wedding in June at the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica. They did such a fantastic job and we received lots of compliments on how great the food and service was at our wedding. We had a little over 100 guests and chose a plated dinner. We mainly worked with Marcus throughout the wedding day and planning. He was so helpful and really worked with us on creating a menu we loved. I found a unique cocktail and asked Marcus if we could serve it at the wedding and he simply said, "I'll take care of it," which is exactly what every bride wants to hear

This is a tough review to write. I had an event in March at the Annenberg Beach House and chose Feast for the catering. I was really pleased with all of the planning we did with Harvey ahead of time. On the day of the event, his staff was amazing -- I was very impressed with their helpfulness, professionalism and friendliness. The food looked and tasted excellent -- but here's my issue: we had what was essentially a buffet/food stations, and a lot of the food was set out in very small bowls so that guests didn't feel free to help themselves. This was inexcusable for something like a crepe

Similar to Babette's review. my company was hosting an event at the Annenberg Beach House and had less two weeks to get everything together. After speaking with several caterers we decided to go with Feast because their food was amazing and perfect 1-to-2 bites for our cocktail party. Knowing we weren't going to be utilizing a lot of seating space, having delicious food one could eat without having to use utensils was crucial. Beautiful and tasty food, lovely presentation! Harvey and the whole team at Feast run a fantastic operation ! My friend and I are quite picky about food, and in fact considered all the possible caterers available to us before deciding on Feast, and this was the right and BEST choice! Guests at out event were even asking "who did the food?".
From the moment we asked our first questions until our event was over, we had a very pleasant process! Customer service was way above our expectations. I can't say we were the easiest clients Harvey has ever had, but he was accommodating throughout

We just worked with Harvey and the team at Feast at the Annenberg Beach House and Marion Davies Guest House in Santa Monica (the event was Sept 23). At first when I heard I had to use the properties set list of caterers I wasn't too happy. After talking to a few companies, we decided on Feast. Keep in mind our event was only 10 days later... so there wasn't much time. We had a full day of panels and a mixer to plan - Harvey jumped right in -

We recently held a business event at the Marion Davies Guest House thru Annenberg. We were given a list of caterers to choose from but we opted for Feast as the menu was well balanced, food looked delectable, and they offered a variety of options.
Harvey, our catering representative, did an amazing job working with me on providing a menu that would appeal to our clients and also provided items off the menu that fit well within our budget. He also offered some additional items that gave the room a wonderful ambiance for our event. Everything was wonderful and I can't say enough about

We are so glad that we chose Feast to cater our recent wedding. From the very beginning, Harvey really listened to what we wanted. Unlike so many of the other caterers we looked at, who seemed to just hear "wedding" and give us their standard wedding menus, Harvey and the Feast team worked with us to develop the casual, fun menu (not "Wedding Food") we were looking for. WOW! Harvey Slater and Marcus are a great team. I called them two weeks prior to my event which happened to be my wedding. Mr. Slater not only had suggestions on a venue, as I was undecided, but then assisted...no, arranged completely, a myriad of details including referral to an incredible florist, who I hired three days prior and did an astonishing job. He also helped coordinate a beach wedding where we rented carpeting and chairs so that my bride could walk down the aisle in her four inch heals without stumbling through the sand.
