We will assemble and cook the Paella of your choice in full-view of your guests, providing a unique visual treat, creating a fiesta of authentic Spanish flavors to light up your taste buds. We at The Paella Artisan not only specialize in creating fun, beautiful and delicious Paella and Tapas Parties, we also offer a variety of scalable catering services that can be customized to your particular tastes and needs. We provide a wide level of services, from elegant sit-down dinners, to Family Style or Buffet service.
Charcuterie and Cheese Board (a rich assortment of Spanish and Italian charcuterie meats and cheeses, completed with a medley of marinated olives and cornichons). No substitutions please, if you choose to have one of the packages, you must choose your tapas from the list below. Pia con Jamon pintxo - Skewered bite size pieces of Hawaiian pineapple with Black Forest ham.
The caterer will provide all display cooking, serving equipment and white heavy-duty disposable dinnerware. The client will provide rented dinnerware (if needed), glasses, napkins, tablecloths, tables and chairs. In order to guarantee your booking, a deposit of 20% of the total cost is required, not refundable within a month of the party date; this deposit will be credited on the final bill.

My husband and I got married this past weekend, finally after postponing our wedding twice. We've had Chef Manuel as our caterer since 2019! Even through COVID and all of the struggles and roadblocks we faced, he was more than patient with us and our never ending changes. We got so many compliments on how good the food was, all the way down to BREAD and BUTTER. His staff was exceptional. We got the Barcelona package and wish we ordered more because everyone loved it so much. He has truly been one of our favorite vendors of the wedding. It was nice to have an assortment of paellas as well,

For the menu, we went with the package that included: paella valenciana (chicken & seafood paella), datiles con chorizo, albondigas entomatadas, tortilla de patatas, melon con jamon, salad, bread/butter, and red wine sangria. All our 50 guests were raving about the food, particularly the datiles con chorizo and albondigas entomatadas. The paella was cooked really well, and it was loaded with seafood.

Chef Manuel, is a consummate professional.
from our first phone conversation, to the emails, to his on time arrival to the food prep, to the clean up. I would say we could not have asked for more, but most importantly his superb artisan display and ultimately the actual delicious taste of the tapas and 2 paellas were equally outstanding.
He surpassed my expectations and I highly recommend him.

He brought one Chef assistant and two servers. The servers were extremely courteous and attentive to all of our needs. One even masterfully carved a beautiful watermelon for us!

Used this service twice already, once pré covid and once during covid. Had a small family function of 25 to celebrate a communion. This was by far one of the safest options for food gatherings as their is no buffet. Everyone was served paella which was made on premises by masked staff who cooked everything fresh. He served everyone their portion 6 feet away from the main paella to avoid contamination. Great flavor, great staff, and very safe which we all appreciated.

Chef Manuel provided catering services for our 150-guest wedding in Highland Park this past November. We knew we wanted something different from traditional wedding food and provide a unique experience to our guests, and Chef Manuel ended up being the perfect fit for us. Chef Manuel made artful and delicious paella for my wedding. His dishes are a sight to see! He was communicative and helpful throughout from the tasting to the day-of. He gave me advice on how to set up the buffet and even made a special site visit to plan better. He is warm and kind and organized but importantly his food is top-notch. Highly recommended! We hired Chef Manuel for our wedding because of my wife's fond memories of eating paella in Spain. The quality of the food and professionalism of the service were incredible. Many of our guests told us how much they liked the food, and the presentation of the tapas and paella was impressive. Running a big event can be hectic, but his staff made it so much easier by being so helpful, they transformed our event from a picnic to a special wedding we'll never forget.

Excellent! Chef Manuel was so easy to work with. Gave me great recommendations for our graduation dinner. The food was beautifully presented and a bonus to see him cook the paella. One guest even said it was better than the paella she had in Barcelona! The churros were also a big hit. Kids (young awere surrounding Chef Manuel while he was making them. Will definitely call him again for future paella parties!

So glad we found Chef Manuel. He catered a lunch at our office with short notice, at a fair price, and it was a huge hit! They arrived promptly and in just a few short hours created two gorgeous and impressive paellas which they served up with enthusiasm to our staff. There was a lot more food than expected, and they even wrapped up the leftovers for us. Highly recommend The Paella Artisan!

Hiring a company to feed a group of people solely on Yelp reviews was a tiny bit nerve racking until I started communicating with Chef Manuel. Chef Manuel was awesome. He was very responsive from beginning to the end. He was extremely courteous and professional yet made me feel warm and well taken care of. And the food was delicious! He has a great assistant who was friendly and helpful and they both did a great clean up job after.
I hired him based on the excellent yelp reviews and I was impressed with his professionalism.
The food presentation was beautiful and my guests enjoyed the seafood and meat paella. He also prepared a small vegetarian paella for my guests as well. Every dish was wonderfully prepared, including the four different appetizers.

Best paella in town for sure! We hired him for our wedding reception, part of the catering. His paella was so tasty and delicious, even it was a vegan one.
All my friends came to me and said how much they loved paella and highly recommend it to other guests to get some more from him. His work was definitely a piece of art. Chef Manuel catered our wedding reception and we were so impressed by his food, the presentation and service. Given that the beautiful venue we selected didn't have a kitchen, delicious, freshly prepared food was the highest priority for our guests. Chef Manuel assured us that cooking at the venue was not going to be a problem. He also provided us with his preferred servers and bartenders, all of whom provided excellent service.
