Most contractors have some type of quality control, however their quality control may only consist of a single review at the final phase of construction. Without inspecting each systems of the property before the drywall goes up, it is impossible to determine if there are any hidden construction defects.
Certified Master Inspectors (CMIs) are the best inspectors in the world. All CMIs are experienced, dedicated to education and have a proven record in the inspection industry. Thermal imaging cameras don't actually see temperature. Instead, they capture the infrared (IR) energy transfer from an object to its environment and produce a real-time image in a color palette where hotter objects appear brighter and cooler objects appear darker.
Mostly thermal imaging cameras are used where the identification of thermal anomalies can be used to find an issue or diagnose a condition, such as insufficient or missing insulation, overloaded circuit, moisture damage/leaks in a home or commercial building.Because thermal energy can be reflected off shiny surfaces, thermal imaging cameras can not see through glass.

Next is the interior. I usually work through the building in a logical sequence, one room at a time and one floor at a time. All walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and HVAC vent conditions will be noted throughout the home. The kitchen appliances and bath fixtures will all be tested as will all electrical outlets.
Q. Are you available to answer questions about the property or report after I close and move into the home? The code of ethics of The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) prohibits its members from soliciting repair work on properties they inspect. This assures that there will never be any conflict of interest on the part of the inspector.

Brian was recommended to us by a friend who has hired him to inspect multiple homes. And after our inspection, I would hire Brian for every house! Highly recommend the team at Superior Home Inspections. Our inspector was Ray. He was super professional, very detailed and had an 'eye like a hawk'. Sometimes he almost had to point my nose at the area that he was concerned about. We spent several hours going through everything with the older home we are looking to buy. Amazing from setting up the appointment to getting the results and report back. In this crazy market, where the due diligence periods are shorter than usual, we were scrambling to find a qualified home inspector. We were looking for a small company (so you know who you’re getting) who also had the CMI cert. Brian came to our rescue and he went above and beyond. I called Superior because Ray had done an inspection for my friend and she had nothing but praise for him and the work he did. When I called, I got Brian and he was able to come out for the inspection in just 2 days. He was awesome and very thorough! Ray and Brian were both so professional and great to work with. Ray answered many of my initial questions over the phone and really knew what he was talking about. He was honest and helpful.
