I was in desperate need of a makeover so i took a chance and bought a Groupon for full highlights + glaze. I had the wonderful opportunity of having Lori as my stylist and she was phenomenal. Shis sweet, easy to talk to and great with her hair artwork!!!

I am amazed at how she restored my hair into something worth having. First of all, my hair had not been done in over a year. When it WAS DONE over a year ago, I had color done on top of highlights. Plus I ended up doing a curly perm. Bad idea because it truly damaged my hair. I

I used The Beauty Box for my wedding recently, and they did a wonderful job for both my bridal styling as well as styling for my bridal party. Yahaira did my hair, and she was amazing. She knows how to work with curly hair and did everything I asked her both for my trial and my wedding day. Maria was also very accommodating for my bridal makeup and did an amazing job giving me everything I wanted and making me look beautiful. Nicolette did my hair coloring and I highly recommend her! I got a full balayage done and I absolutely love my hair. She's so knowledgeable and knows what she's doing!! Staff is sweet and friendly. Can't wait to come back!

I go to Lori and I will always stay with Lori forever! She is a master colorist and can tell me what will or wont work for me. She really listens which I love. She knows how to cut your hair to suit your face and is honestly the best hairdresser i've ever had. Shes honest, and a really really good at what she does. A true professional!

Came here for a blowout with my mom for a holiday event. Both Amanda and Nikki did a fantastic job. Lovely women, great hairdressers (my super picky mother was really happy!).

The only downside is the parking, but evidently they usually have a valet who helps with that.

I've been going here every since they opened and I'm never going anywhere else. The staff is super polite, the atmosphere is welcoming and their service is excellent. I always go for a wash, cut, color and blow dry and I never walk out disappointed. I usually go to every 3-6 months which I feel is a good time frame. I would highly recommend!!

In this day and age racism is prevalent and in full force, rude treatment because obviously the girl nikki did not know how to deal with a person of mixed race hair. She was rude , unprofessional and racist. Would never advise anyone to go here.

If I could leave a half star, I would! I'm beyond disappointed and disgusted by the service I received by a hair stylist named Nikki/Nicole. I had a similar experience to you Anita-Nikki was rude and short with me, and acted like she disgusted by my hair. I felt unwelcome and decided to leave.It was clear curly hair isn't what they specialize in and even more clear they don't service people of color. I refuse to go back there and i don't recommend any person color getting their done in this place. Totally disgusted and refuse to spend another penny there! DONT GO THERE!

Had an AMAZING experience with Melissa Campos. I told her my vision and she executed perfectly. It was thrilling watching a true artist at work! So happy with my new look!!

My hair for my wedding was PERFECT. Yahaira worked wonders, and I cannot thank her enough for making this part of my wedding 100% stress free. Not to mention she'll keep you laughing the entire time and keep things light; she's used to working with brides so bridal stress is not new to her. I simply showed her a couple pictures of things I liked (I only had very general ideas of what I liked) and she turned it into something perfect for me. I've been seeing Lori now for several years so when she moved to The Beauty Box, naturally I followed.

The salon is airy, beautiful and convenient. The staff is gracious and accommodating. And what can I say about Lori? When I came to her, my color was a wreck, my hair was damaged and I had trouble growing it because of that.

Now my hair is below my shoulders, super healthy and I've never been happier with my color. Lori puts the Beauty in Beauty Box!

I can’t speak highly enough about The Beauty Box! I arrived feeling blah ( my hair had been really neglected - mostly my own doing - by trying to color it myself). I left with hair that shimmered and looked healthy. The highlights were so natural looking, they even brightened my face and complexion. The transformation was amazing. Gina is a magician. She listened to what I wanted, and I could tell that she really cared about getting the color right... Everyone at this salon was warm and friendly, and I could see that they all took time and made sure that their clients were happy and looking fantastic

I've been coloring my hair with Amanda for three years in a row and never disappointed. She is amazing. I am from Spanish descent and my hair tends to turn orange when colored but Amanda knew from the first time how to treat it. I can go for a year without coloring and the color continues to be lively and looks fresh just as if she had just done it. Very pleased and thankful!

I recently when in to get a blow out for my bridal shower. The girl doing my hair was 20 minutes late. I asked if someone could put a braid in my hair and it appeared the girl doing my hair didn't know how / couldn't find anyone else to do it. A braid takes less than a minute, the fact that no-one could take 30 seconds to help on my bridal shower day is absolutely insane to me.

It came out okay but due to the staff being late, rude and frazzled I will never come back.

I have been to this salon three times now. The first was for partial highlights and since then for a glaze. Gina is very nice and she has always given me a good color. I have never wanted a blowdry as I feel it causes damage to my hair so usually skip this part. Stylists usually dry it enough so it isnt dripping wet which I think is acceptable.

On my last visit, Gina was busy so she was not present for my entire glaze. Another stylist washed me hair then asked me if I wanted a blowdry. I declined. She then sat me at a chair and gave me a hairdryer and a brush and said (nicely) that i could dry

Lori Lori Lori!!!! Met Lori at the Beauty Box a few days ago and received the most beautiful highlights and haircut. I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair color and the highlight technique (as most of us are) and Lori totally put me at ease. We talked through the whole process before we started, and I couldn't be more in love with the end result!!

Lindsey styles and cuts my hair. She is the reason I come to the Beauty Box. Not only is she talented but she’s professional, has a wealth of knowledge about hair and is an absolute sweetheart. Always look forward to seeing her and being treated like a queen. Also, hair washers are excellent and just make you feel very taken care of. Worth every penny and would highly recommend!!

Melissa Campos, recent new addition to The Beauty Box, has been my stylist for years. So this June I went to the Beauty Box for the first time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Melissa gave me a perfect haircut as always! And also recommended someone else at the salon (re braiding - something I had asked her about months ago). If I could go here regularly, I would, but in my current student status, I can't afford to. Lori G did my cut and highlights and she did an amazing job! My highlights looked great even when they were growing out! Highly recommend this place if you have the money

The Beauty Box is singular in the respect that each employee is a "specialist" in her field (stylist, or colorist). Danielle has been my colorist for the last year and is so personally invested in ensuring that I am absolutely content with my hair color when I leave. I have auburn- brown hair naturally which is highlighted blonde to disguise the many gray hairs that are emerging. It is very difficult to achieve a beigy result without pulling out the massive red undertones in my hair, but Danielle has been extraordinarily successful in doing so. I had a hair color emergency from another salon that I needed fixed ASAP before a big vacation (I wanted a soft blond balayage and I got orange highlights). The team at beauty box got me in quickly and did an amazing job! Danielle was my colorist and she nailed the look I was going for-she's very knowledgeable about color and was able to fix and blend the chunkiness of my hair and fade it from a chocolate brown at the roots to a soft blonde at the ends. Lindsey shaped and trimmed my hair to perfection and all of the other ladies there to wash & blow-dry were incredible.

Danielle is a great colorist. My hair was over processed and damaged when i first came to this salon. Danielle suggested certain products to use in the salon and at home and now my hair looks shinier and is more healthy. Also Jahaira is an amazing stylist. She is the only one I will let trim my hair and her blow outs are awesome. Lauren is also a great stylist. You can t go wrong when you decide to get your hair done at the Beauty Box!

The salon has a nice open comfortable feeling when you enter. It's an easy-going atmosphere and the staff were welcoming. I ventured out to Rye with a great deal on a Groupon for single process and glaze and based on the superior yelp ratings. They even allowed me to use their check in special to get a discount on a blow dry!

Melissa, my hair colorist was super friendly. She asked me what I was looking for and gave me her suggestions which were thoughtful and in line with what I was looking for. We chatted all throughout my treatment it was like meeting up with an old friend!
