This place is overrated. Spent so much money for a place that doesn't know how to color hair. The lady that did my hair looks nervous when she was doing my hair. And she kept saying it's going to look good and I was hoping it would, I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. This place charges you for everything from the washing your hair after a color to blow drying which is ridiculous. I've never had any place color my hair and not wash it completely with shampoo after, she just rinsed my hair. When she was blow drying my hair I knew I wouldn't like what she did to

Never have I been to a salon where I am blown away through the whole process. Upon entering Pirri, you are greeted as if you are family, and the salon is modern, and clean with an elegant touch. Everything they say and do, they do with incredible passion for their work. Then listen to your needs and wants, and truly preform art to ensure full customer satisfaction. The best salon experience in a very long time, Luigi and Flora did so well on my highlights, they really took the time and effort to listen to what I want and my worries which is dry ends cause of too much bleach, their glaze and highlights is the best, you have to come here if you want attentive and experienced stylists, I already booked my next appointment, thank you Pirri =) I almost cried cause my hair was so beautiful

If you're thinking of getting your hair done and in the Greenwich area, LOOK NO FURTHER!
Although difficult to spot from the street as this salon is on the second level of the building, it is well worth the search!!
The two owners are incredibly talented in their craft and came from Italy. You can sense the passion as they put such great care and thought into each cut, color, etc...
It was worth every penny, I was treated like royalty from the second I arrived in the beautiful, modern salon. They offered a perfectly made cappuccino after my wash which I thought was a great touch being

Avoid this salon. The owner told me to "stop being negative" when I objected to potentially being charged $50 for a glaze in case my highlights didn't come out as intended...Although I understand upcharges, don't tell a client to stop being negative when I am making decisions regarding my wallet AND my appearance. I also felt like what I wanted for my haircut wasn't important- it was more about the stylist's "vision". Not a great experience at all. Will not go back. Very uncomfortable.

Although I only gave Pirri one star, I've never actually been to the salon. I made an appointment at Pirri for a bridal updo trial several months before my wedding. The afternoon before my trial (six weeks before the wedding), they called to tell me that they are not available on the date of my wedding. I can't imagine why they couldn't tell me this when I booked the appointment. I live in Boston and traveled to NY for this hair trial. Thanks a lot, Pirri.
