Pope Funeral Home opened for business. With the great support we received in that area, it was soon easy to see that we would need a larger facility to accommodate our clients.

My Aunt, Thelma Grant, who was 105 had her funeral in January and people have been telling my mom and myself that the service was one of the best they had ever seen. My aunt looked natural and like she was going to church. She was a school teacher and Mr. Pope made sure my aunt had a beautiful vault with her picture and school background. Her programs were entitled the last report card. His staff did a Stella job on them also. My aunt was a seamstress and her sewing machine was displayed at the funeral. The family greatly appreciates all the special “accents.” Thanks so much for sending my

Earlier this month, I received a recommendation to look into this funeral home for our family’s recent need and they did not disappoint. The lengths that Mr. Pope and his staff went through to make the service for our loved one extra special were truly heart touching. Everything was beautiful and done with excellence. They even streamed our service for family and friends who were unable to attend due to the COVID-19 restrictions. I wholeheartedly recommend this funeral home to anyone in need of these services. Mr. Pope and his team were excellent & very professional.

Please do not feel pressured to use their services. The staff members will rush you into making decisions based on "the condition of the body". Very unprofessional, rude, didn't take care of our loved one properly. The morgue smelled as if the thermostat was broken and flesh was rotting. Had a love one die the weekend of Hurricane Mathew, upon viewing the body two days later, the funeral home was in the middle of restoring power, the owner claimed the power never went out...as he proceeds to tell us his computer system etc were down over The weekend *ironic right*.
