Das Essen ist sehr gut hier! Our first time eating here today and we had a very pleasant experience! Our waitress was Jill, she was very attentive and super nice! The warm pretzels with three different kinds of mustard were delicious!
I had the König Ludwig Schnitzel with Spaetzel and the Apfelstruedel for dessert. My husband had Schnitzel with German potatoes. So yummy!

Proper German food which is terribly hard to find in New England. Nice atmosphere, diverse menu with daily specials…owners are lovely people. Don’t miss out on this place!!

I have been to Germany and found the food here to be as good or better than what I had there. I was there for lunch and enjoyed it thoroughly. (It was worth the one-hour drive to get there!) The service was excellent. My entrée, sauerbraten with spätzle and red cabbage, was delicious and the portions were generous. The freshly-made apple strudel was amazing, served warm with sides of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. I would have enjoyed the selections on the bier menu, but I was driving. I recommend making reservations. The restaurant is probably even more popular at dinner time. I'm looking

Good place with some German food. I was on the road trip and stopped by this restaurant randomly and would say the food didn’t disappoint me. The only one thing to mention is that there’s no cellphone signal there and the restaurant doesn’t provide WiFi - not friendly for someone who was traveling.

I lived in Germany for a couple months and this place is the only place that has good German food in New England that I have found...and I have been looking. I love this place. The food is great, the staff is friendly, it is very clean, and the asthetic is very warm and comfy. I definitely recommend the desserts, because they are real winners!

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant!!! Brought back some very pleasant memories of when I was stationed in Germany for two tours!! The staff was incredibly helpful, courteous, professional and just plain wonderful!! The atmosphere was amazing and my family and I had a spectacular time! I introduced my wife and my daughter to traditional Bavarian food, identical to what I had when I was stationed near Nurenberg. If you like traditional Bavarian food, this is the place to go!!!!!

Havent had good, home-made German food for a long time; I wish I'd come here sooner! Sauerbraten, schnitzel, spaetzle were all fantastic - and a litre of Octoberfest was perfect with it!

Bavaria is an excellent excellent place for authentic German cuisine. We really enjoyed the food, beers were great, dessert had all those subtle flavors of fruit and vanilla coming through and the German coffee was absolutely fantastic❣️

Food was very authentic (german) and very tasty. Service was ok. The ambient could use some refreshment… its bit old…
It is however expensive!!!!!! Lunch for two 85$ (we did not order anything wilde and too much).

Excellent food. Very friendly and helpful staff explaining what the various authentic German foods were. We callled ahead and made reservations. Kind of pricey but definitely worth every penny.

Where do I start? Delicious food, great beer, good deserts and cordials for after dinner. Or the friendly service??? All great things at Bavaria House!

Food/drink. The schnitzel is amazing! Oh and get the spaetzle! The mushroom soup is to die for. Actually everything I tried or tasted was amazing! As for beer, not a bad short list of German beers, but the schnapps cordial list is great! I got some honey schnapps that I can not wait to get again!

Atmosphere/cleanliness. More of a quiet German restaurant. There was no one standing on chairs singing or making a lot of noise you see in other German

My first time in this restaurant. It's small but well worth going to! The food is very good and the deserts are just as good! The owners are very nice as well as the staff!!

This is one of our favorite places. We went yesterday and are going back tomorrow with my mother who is originally from Germany.
True authentic and German cuisine, complete with the German beer, schnitzel, apple strudel and so much more. I highly recommend reservations.

At first I was a little dismayed that they didn't have any outdoor seating options (I'm not ready to sit inside a restaurant yet due to the pandemic), so I decided to go ahead and order takeout. I'm so thankful I did. This was some of the best Bavarian food that I've had outside Germany. We tried a wide variety of things and everything was spectacular. I also had some lovely interactions with the staff while ordering over the phone and picking up. We live an hour away and are already planning our trip back.

The best real German place in the area. The lady still has a German accent and her husband cooks in the kitchen. WARNING!!!! Do not just show up with your friends or family and expect to get a table. They will turn you away. I've seen a family with 2 little kids turned away. It is a small restaurant and you need to call the day or week before if you want a specific day and time. Red cabbage on point, spatzle so yummy, and the Wiener schnitzel is great. The potatoe pancake with applesauce is good too and it is hard for me to order something new when I want the same yummy thing each time I

Food was excellent and authentic. Great German atmosphere.Had the potato pancakes ,snitzel and apple strudel. All excellent. Menu was large with many Herman options . Pricing was on the high side but food was fresh.
My only knock was that the do not except American Express credit card .Yelp got me there as I was traveling through the area glad I went.

A nice, authentic German restaurant. Great good and good service. Intimate atmosphere decorated as if you were visiting Bavaria itself.

We had the pretzel and wurst appetizer to start, followed by Schnitzel for my girlfriend and German meatloaf for me. The spaetzel (as I believe everything) is made fresh onsite and was excellent. The potato pancakes lasted about 5 minutes before the plate was clean...Delicious homemade apple strudel for dessert.

We stopped in after reading many of the reviews here on Yelp. We arrived at lunch time on a Saturday so the restaurant was not overly crowded. We were seated quite quickly. The dining room is cozy and bright. It doesn't have a huge amount of seating which is probably why reservations are recommend in the evening.

Our waitress was very friendly and explained all of the specials to us. We decided to try the pretzels served with three mustards for an appetizer. The pretzels were soft and chewy and the mustards were delicious. For our meals we both ordered the plate that had four different

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary last night at Bavaria.

The restaurant is small,but pristine. The German food is freshly prepared and always delicious.

We had friendly conversation with the owner and she aimed to please.

Almost perfect dining experience!
In general I do like such layouts: not just one big room, but where you can have a corner beyond half-wall, or semi-private part of the larger room. We love European cuisine, and German in particular. And this place didn't disappoint at all.
The same goes for a menu size: not overwhelmingly huge, but just a right variety. All 4 people in my party ordered different things - and everyone was happy. Well, our waitress seemed to be only learning the ropes and made a couple of mistakes, but nothing too bad.

Yowza! How have I not been here before?! I suppose it took another trip to Munich in 2018 to remind me of my love of Schnitzel!!! Truly a love affair.

We didn't have a reservation which I would recommend making. We were there around 2 pm Saturday. By the time we left all but 2 of their approx 12 tables were occupied. We sat at the small bar which was cozy.

The Lager sent us right back to a Munchen Biergarten. A glass of warm Glugwein was also enjoyed.

Drive out of your way to find this gem! True Bavarian hospitality, hidden in the back of a strip mall...but don't let the setting fool you. The food is ausgezeichnet (Excellent)!! Try an appetizer but be warned, the portions are huge. I went for a special schnitzel that used a mustard and garlic preparation and was not disappointed. The drinks list features German wines, and it provides helpful details about what each will taste like, so Reisling lovers can choose to fit their mood. You may have to hunt to find this place, but you will want to go back.

Me and two of my friends came to Pembroke to celebrate a friend's birthday. We enjoyed three nights of very different cuisines, and this was our selection for the last night. I have had other meals at German restaurants, and this one was every bit as good as the others. I enjoyed the jagarschnitzel very much, and since we all ordered different entrees, I got to try bites of many other foods which were all enjoyable as well.

When they say make a reservation, it is in your best interest to do so.

Service was quick. Food was excellent. I will certainly be back in a future visit when I return
