The Wild Rover
Enjoy our relaxed, 100 year old oak wood floors and brick-lined walls that make The Wild Rover's traditional Irish pub atmosphere. It's 100 year old oak floors and brick walls set the tone for a memorable experience. Whether for business lunches or a relaxing casual dinner, you will find that "The Rover, " serves up some of the best food around.

Stop in before any event at the SNHU Arena and choose from salads, appetizers, pub-fare and "not-so pub" specials. Enjoy one of our perfectly poured pints. This juicy IPA has a hazy appearance with hints of citrus & pine create a well-balanced, hop forward & slightly sweet IPA. Coors Light is always lagered below freezing to give our light beer its cleaner, crisper taste.

$20 prime trib dinner every Wednesday is hard to beat. Bar service is great on Wednesday. If you don't like prime rib they have other specials and great menu items to choose from. High bang for the buck.

Calling all alfredo lovers! Hard to believe this Irish pub makes
better chicken alfredo than many high end, area Italian
restaurants but it's wonderfully true! Very generous plate
cooked to perfection (thank you chef Alex) left us swooning.
Great fish and chips. Do love classic Irish fare so wish they
would make things like colcannon on occasion and/or offer
specialty meals cooked with Guinness or stout for a hit
of the real deal. Just one more wish: turn down the music--
post Covid, many want to visit and talk. Otherwise, great little
place.

Yeah, had a blast here. Between the staff and regulars, the awesome food, as well as great drink specials.... I'm glad I live farther away or I think I might be there too often!

The staff is always friendly at this quaint little bar located half a block from Elm st so it's not as crowded as most places(but can still pack a house). Their food is exceptionally good for a bar. I suggest popping in there for a drink and some food one sunday evening.

Just popped in with some friends cause we heard music playing and were looking to get a drink. Service was good and inside was clean and nice. The apps we ordered were served quickly and were so good. Our server was very attentive as well.

I'm not sure how a places scores that low. Anything below 90 is unacceptable

I feel bad saying this cause the waiter was really nice. But we had a terrible experience. Asked for olivesw a martini...no olives. Asked for a Chardonnay....no Chardonnay. Food was even worse fish n chips tasted a few days old and then I got a Reuben and it was like beef jerky.

Just a high quality, old school Manchester establishment that doesn't disappoint. Tim, the bartender, is why you go. Period. Excellent person working at an excellent place.

The Wild Rover. Absolutely rock solid.

My husband and I stumbled upon this bar (not literally) and we loved it. Its kind of turned into our go to local bar now that we've moved to Manchester. We met the female owner and she was so nice and super friendly. They always have really great entertainment in there as well. We've found that the drink prices are some of the best in Manchester. We haven't eaten there yet, but have seen the food and it looks delicious. Definitely recommend.

Awesome Irish Pub with an old-school yesteryear feel to it. Lots of hardwoods all around.

We ate dinner here on evening. I had the fried pickles with Ranch dressing on the side, and a Shepherds Pie, paired with a cold pint of a locally crafted Ale:

IPA (7.2% ABV) Stoneface Brewing Co., Newington, NH (ranked 3.25 stars on Untappd)

Overall - a pretty decent IPA.

The pickles were crispy and delicious. And the Shepherds Pie was meaty, tasty, and filling.

Service was good!

The one problematic issue with visiting The Wild Rover was parking. EVERY space in the general area is pay parking. And most

Not some place that you absolutely have to visit in Manchester but it's a solid local spot to grab a beer, watch the game, and enjoy some comforting pub food.

My favorite item on their menu is the Fish and Chips! They take thick pieces of haddock, dip it in a harp lager batter, and fry it to a nice golden brown. As for the fries, Wild Rover offers thin fries or thick-cut pub fries. Pretty sure kitchen staff lets those sit in the fryer for an extra minute because they come out DARK brown and extra crispy which I love. The fries are also on the salty salty side so they are probably heaven

The food was very good and had the "wow" factor, however, I'm giving a lower rating due to slow service. The place was not busy at all and we needed to wait for our server a lot. She was very nice, and perhaps the only server on when we were there. We do look forward to returning so we may try more items on their extensive menu. Today's choices were; Beef on a Stick, Paddy Melt w/onion rings, and the Ultimate Burger w/onion rings. All cooked to juicy, flame broiled perfection! Wow!!! A huge thank you to my boyfriend for finding this place for us to celebrate our 1 year anniversary!

We rarely go out for breakfast, but when we do, it is almost always here. We've come here for years.

We showed up a few minutes early and waited in the car. An employee let himself in at exactly 10. We gave them 5-10 minutes to open and then approached and tried the door. We moved away from the door so we wouldn't be obnoxious standing outside.

10 more minutes elapsed and they ignored our presence. The door sometimes sticks so I tried again, and it was still locked. I knocked to find out when they would open but the dude behind the bar I could clearly see ignored me, so we left.

The Wild Rover is a casual Irish bar. Our server was friendly and the experience was pleasant overall. Unfortunately this is yet another Manchester restaurant with very average food. We started with the deep fried jalapeƱos. For dinner I had the Dublin burger and my husband had the shepherds pie. The appetizer was fine and my burger had so much promise but was way over cooked. The onions rings that I got as a side and hubby's entree were average.

If I could give zero stars for my experience today I would.

Waited a half hour for soup. Then they come out with our meals (hour wait at this point), two of which (out of three) were wrong.

They come out with two more meals, one of which was right out of the two left.

My dad has finished his whole meal by now. My stepmom had to leave with hers because it took too long. I still have no food. The what we presume to be manager is supposedly looking into it.

He comes out with our check. I still have no food. My dad asks if he's not going to feed me. The man says not unless we want to wait

There's not much to write home about here. It's an Irish pub with the decorated interior reflecting that. It's also grimy and small inside. They have a large beer selection and generic, uninspired pub food.

There's not a lot of people here during the week, so it might be a better shot if you don't like crowds more than some of the other places like Strange Brew. There are a lot of locals and regulars here. It's just like a hundred other pubs I've been to.
