Since 1958, Engram Funeral Home has proudly served families in the community. William M. Engram, Sr. opened Engram Funeral Home on Main Street in the town of Courtland, VA. We are a family owned and operated establishment that holds a long standing tradition of providing dependable, caring and courteous service to families in the Franklin, Suffolk, Southampton County, Gates, NC and the surrounding areas.
We will assist your family in planning a funeral and choosing the options that suit your families needs and your loved ones wishes. From our chapel, to your church or at the cemetery we are able to prepare a meaningful service to honor your loved one. We will listen to your family and help to arrange a celebration of your loved one's life through whatever means you choose.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.

Mr. William Engram is a very compassionate man, who Serves Well in this business. I called this Ministry,because everyone is not able to accommodate, the needs of families
when it comes to matters such as this.
He served our family when our Father passed.
