First time going to this location, was a pick-up. Food was ready for pickup, flavorful, and mild as requested (dal makhani and "eggplant crescent" which was actually more like bharta). Icing on the cake was the star anise in the steamed rice. A little pricier than last year at Alcosta location, but maybe a sign of the times.

It was our first time yesterday, I have to say this was the BEST! we ordered saag paneer that was perfect, wasn’t spicy just they way we like, came in small quantity. We also got chicken briyani, which was good, came in large quantity. Then we got one order of paneer pokoras came in 6 that was yummy! Lastly mango laci which was perfectly creamy and sweet!

Went for a lunch buffet. Not at all worth paying $14+.
Cleanliness was ok. Not very great..
Food taste was also ok not even good. They had rice kheer which was made with yesterday’ Leftover rice added in some milk. Rasmalai was frozen. The sever added leftover pieces of tandoori chicken to the butter chicken. Naans were premade dunno when and were very dry. Chutneys were running all over the plate. The only tasty part was mango ice cream but it was also like mango milkshake..
They never came to clear the plates..
Not worth returning back.. And certainly not worth the money..

My experience to this place had surprised me today. I was expecting the usual south Asian buffet( like many others) with same kind of food choices, but out here the food tasted fresh and yummy. The place was busy, clean and welcoming. Variety of foods was presented to satisfy all vegetarian and non vegetarian people. The best part of the day was they provided fresh naans through out meal. Also kids loved the ice cream options and dessert. Definitely a must go to this place...:)

Great lunch buffet! The food is fresh and often replenished. They have classic generous Indian hospitality, even when not overtly friendly by American standards. Definitely worth the price!

I adore this spot! They have good food, their menu is varied, The cook in that place is an expert, I enjoy very much tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the service towards the customers is agreeable. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.

I have been to all 3 locations of this chain in Bay area, food was ok nothing surprising, salad and fruits were sub par but I know that's not what you go to Indian buffet for.

One of the few Indian restaurants with consistent quality of their food. You will either like their version of Indian food or you will not, but it will remain consistent with every visit....unlike many other places, which are a hit or a miss.
Lunch buffet is pretty good and reasonably priced. Have come here with family / friends/ colleagues...5 stars Everytime .

Favorite Indian restaurant was my go-to buffet (good value for $12), until I discovered Frontier Spice in Pleasanton. If you are introducing friends to Indian food, this restaurant is good for their fish pakora, butter chicken, garlic naan, rice pudding, and mango ice cream. If you've eaten a lot of Indian food and are willing to forego variety for higher quality, check out Frontier Spice for $13. At Favorite Indian, it's a good idea to go a bit after noon for their buffet, to give the dishes a chance to warm up a bit.
8/15/17 Update: The fish pakora is always too salty. The butter chicken still

I don't know whether there are better Indian buffet, but this is the one that I like the most so far. I remember when I was at here, they have a good atmosphere, good service and appropriate drink and desert options. So many guest there maybe a proof that this is a good place to go. For foods they offered the average kinds of Indian rices, sauces, chickens, but they were really good cooked and tasty. I felt so good when I had the dinner there.
