NOT RECOMMENDED! There are better Burmese food restaurants in the area.

Poor customer service.

Host and hostess were not wearing mask properly. Rude to entire party.

Our goal after our walk/hikes to seek out a new restaurant in the area and reward ourselves with a nice lunch. Our coordinator had read good things about Burma Burma on Yelp and made this our lunch destination. It's located in a strip mall on San Ramon Blvd along with several other restaurants and parking was easy in the mall lot.

Interior is clean, modern and spacious with tables and booths along the walls with pictures of Burma for décor. The menu consists of a good selection of appetizers, soups, sides, salads, noodles, chicken, beef, lamb, pork, seafood and vegetables dishes. We decided

Food tastes good and the service was great. Try the tea leaves salad and they have gluten free options too. Waiter specifically asked if anyone has allergies, which few restaurants do. Their service was courteous and prompt. Try out Burma! Burma!

Wow! My children and I are weekly at this Resturant post-covid Resturant dine in closures in Cali. If your pallet craves sweet and savory or salty and sweet tastes you will not be disappointed! My children absolutely loved the Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken and Pineapple Fried Rice. My favs were the Chicken Curry Plata, Pad Thai with Shrimp, Any Choice of Lamb!, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Plum Wine and don't forget the Chicken Lettuce Wraps!!! When I tell you we ate here every week!!! Chile.... You will never forget this Burmese/Thai/Indian Fusion experience!

Whew I'm just salivating think

Ordered mohinga, salt pepper calamari, basil and fry chili beef, and sautéed green beans.

5* for service. 3* for food.
Food was mediocre. Mohinga was the tastiest but could do with more soup and toppings for the price. The calamari was very disappointing. Though the outer layer of the batter was crispy crunchy, it was way too thick that you get soggy cooked batter in between the outer layer and calamari. Beef was very tasty and it taste similar to Szechuan fry chili beef except the basil gives it a southeast Asian flair. Green beans could have been better. The seasoning was great but the texture

Disappointed, pretty bland food to be honest.
Pineapple fried rice had no salt. Garlic noodles with tofu had probably 3 pieces of tofu. The savior were the sauces.

This restaurant was popping at like 3pm-- that was a good sign and we were not let down! Super flavorful food that came out super fast.

Tea leaf salad was on point. The mixed vegetable kebat had a super strong and flavorful sauce- really enjoyed that. Burma burma noodle was mild, peanutty, and creamy- delicious.

Great service- very attentive and food came out fast and hot.

They have a number of tables outside, too.

Would love to come back when we're in this area!

The staff is extremely friendly and the service quite elevated. For being a quaint establishment in a quiet neighborhood, the restaurant puts a lot of care into the attentiveness of creating a pleasant dining experience for their patrons.
The food is delicious and I recommend the Burmese iced tea and the spicy basil beef.

A hidden gem in the east bay! I stumbled upon this restaurant while yelping places to eat for lunch since I was in the area. I was craving tea leaf salad so decided to give this restaurant a try.

I tried three dishes:
1. Tea leaf salad ($14): taste authentic, but lacking some flavor. Huge portion so definitely work the price!

2. Burmese style pork curry ($17): Not my favorite, it was really oily for my liking and it wasn't the curry flavor I had in mind. It was more like a pork stew than curry.

3. Burmese pad Thai with tofu ($14): I couldn't tell what the difference between a Burmese

I made reservations for a birthday dinner and was greeted by a very friendly host. The food was delicious and I highly recommend getting the Burmese iced tea and black pepper beef. I will definitely be getting the black pepper beef the next time I return.

Stopped by here for a small group lunch after seeing the positive reviews. Ordered the following dishes:

Tea leaf salad - $14
Beef tofu - $18
Nan Gyi Dok - $14
Garlic Noodle w/ roast duck - $14

3 out of the 4 dishes were solid or very good.

The tea leaf salad was a pleasant starter - can't beat healthy and the crunch of the peanuts and sesame seeds sure gave it some tasty dimension. Heads up though, it was quite garlicky - something I don't recall in other places where I've ordered tea leaf salad. It may be a good or bad thing depending on your preference for garlic. The

Burma Burma has been a place near me for years but yet I had never even discovered it until my friends were raving about it. This place is probably one of the best Burmese food in the East Bay and I have visited twice within the past couple of weeks since it is THAT good!

This review is definitely long overdue, but on both visits, I came with a group of 3. The first time, we made a reservation and were seated right away. The second time we walked in and it took about 10-15 minutes before we were seated. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice since there is not a lot of seating

Everything was delicious. We came across this olace and it was a hit. They have indoor and outdoor dining with live music entertainment. There was a 30 minute wait but it was nice to hear the band playing.

We ordered salt and pepper calamari and samosas for appetizers. We ordered pinapple fried rice, Burmese style pad thai, lamb curry and basil and chilli swai.

Everything was delicious!!! The fried samosas were incredible! Pipping hot so be careful but so good, you won't wait for it to cool down until your next bite! Calamari was cooked perfectly. Batter was light and the calamari was plump

I'm a huge fan of both Indian and Thai food, so this falls right in the middle, both geographically and flavor-wise! Everything is amazing... not pictured is the Rainbow Salad, highly recommended. Of the pictured dishes, my favorites are the Garlic Noodles (a bit oily, but it was expected) and the Garlic Eggplant. The Lamb Kebab is very tender, very good flavor combination... not spicy. We inhaled the Garlic Noodles with chicken and had to order a second round, but with tofu. So good!

Good and convenient location. Food was delicious & friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor dine in seating were available. Spice levels was less for us and we should have mentioned to make it more spicy. Based on the quantity provided for entrees the cost seems to be on higher side. No rice options (need to order separately) for most of the main entrees.

I had to try Burmese from long time and I landed to this place. Definitely it didn’t disappoint me. We were 4 of us and ordered 4 different dishes.
Samosa salad: dressing and taste was very unique.
Khao sue : it was ok. I expected lot more flavors.
Burmese Garlic noodles with shrimp: good but lack of spice.
Palata with coconut chicken curry : it was the best dish ever! Perfectly balanced spice and aroma.

Came here mid last summer before outdoor dining had closed. They had hand sanitizer at each table and staff were following proper protocols to keep guests safe. I definitely recommend the tea leaf salad and lotus chips for appetizers! We ordered fresh young coconut since it was hot out too.
