When we arrived we were greeted by a person behind a glass wall that only said hi checked us in and handed us our keys. There was no explanation of the mountain, what services were offered, how to use their dining area during COVID, transportation services to ski area, nothing.
Then we went to our condo, many of the dishes were dirty, so we had to re-clean them. The only sink in the kitchen is a bar sink not a full sink so the cleaning process was not optimal, the dishwasher detergent pods supplied did not fully dissolve but hardened instead so we had to hand wash many dishes.

Saw 4 employees total on 200 room motel. $600 a night room is absolutely worthless. Restaurant is closed, our room and the hot tub are cold. No fire in the "lodge". Talked to the owner at the front desk, did not care whatsoever about our stay. Told us to deal with it because of Covid. watched him check into his sweet. Do not stay here during Covid.

My family and I (total of 4 people) stayed at Mountain Lodge Telluride in August 2021 in 1-bedroom suite with a balcony. Suite was cozy but at the same time there was just enough space, closets and shelves to stow away our luggage and belongings without cluttering the suite. Suite was nicely furnished and decorated for a nice mountain lodge atmosphere complete with beautiful fireplace visible from both the living room and the bedroom. The suite came with a well equipped kitchen with all utensils and utilities we needed (oven, stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, pots, pans, etc). I loved the bathroom

The Mountain Lodge has the BEST people in all of Telluride. After trying to plan a wedding in Telluride for 2 years and working with different venues, vendors, and cancellations because of covid, I can tell you 100%... this hotel has the best managers and has the easiest people to work with. The most important thing for my wedding day was to work with someone who tried to accommodate all of my requests, reduce my stress, and offer ways to remedy any concerns. The director, Sam Barnes, did exactly that. No matter how many times I asked him for xyz, he always said "yes, absolutely whatever you

I could have given this hotel 3-4 stars, but the greed of the owners just disgusts me.
The good: we had a junior suite and it was nice - not great, just nice. Furniture was comfortable and the bed was good. They are pet friendly.
The bad: parking is inadequate. Why anyone would build a facility with inadequate parking perplexes me. To add insult to injury, you must pay $20 per night for parking - if no spaces are available they will provide valet parking at the same price. Yes, they are pet friendly, but you will pay $50 per night - capped at $150.
So. I paid $1,875 for a room for 4 days plus

The Mountain Lodge is gorgeous. The rooms and cabins are pretty nice; nothing too spectacular though the lobby, pool, and amenities are top notch. Best part of all is the spectacular location, right in the heart of the mountain village. Easy access to the gondola, too.
Only complaint was parking, which is quite a pain. We managed but when you find a spot, hang on to it!

We LOVED our stay at the Mountain Lodge Telluride. We had our wedding here and it was simply amazing! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend hosting a wedding reception here if your guest count is around 65 people. The view from the reception area is amazing and makes you feel like a true mountain reception. It was also so easy to get around the village and get down to Telluride using the near-by free gondolas. My family from out of town also loved their stay. Such a good value!!

No A/C. Slept with the window open and just heard people talking all night. Even with the window and blinds wide open (which ruins any bit of privacy), the room was still way too warm. TV didn't work, so I couldn't drown them out with that. Bed was uncomfortable with scratchy sheets. TV cables were dangling in front of the fireplace. Overall, not worth the price by far.

I've been here twice now. I love this lodge, the atmosphere, the staff and the views are all incredible. Enough can't be said about this location. Mike at the front desk went above and beyond on our most recent trip. A friend of mine owns the room we stay in, somehow the booking company forgot to send the owners-rental information to the front desk. Mike assisted, simply had the owners call in and explain it to him. The restaurant "The View" has some world class food, amazing staff and unbelievable views. Highly recommend eating there given the chance.

I've stayed here a number of times over the past few years, and the Mountain Lodge is always awesome! Every time I've stayed here the rooms have been extremely clean, comfortable and have well stocked kitchens. The customer service is impeccable and they're definitely following the Covid era protocols, which I really appreciate. Not to mention they have probably the best pool area in Mountain Village and pretty much ski in, ski out access in the winter. Big thanks to Sam and his team for always going above and beyond for us! Highly recommend, year round

I booked this place for a anniversary getaway with my husband and baby. I mainly booked it because I was able to have a separate bedroom and living area so that our son could go down early and we could hangout in the living room and spend time together. Well the couch in our room was absolutely disgusting, completely worn out, torn and falling apart. The sitting chairs in the room felt like something purchased from a thrift store. Needless to say the only place comfortable enough to watch TV was in bed. I should have just booked a regular room. The bathroom was small and moldy. The bath towels

For the price you would expect more. I guess some of the rooms are nicer than others but I really don't know what they are spending money on because it's not in my room. We have mold in our shower. Which we called about and they said was a stain they kinda cleaned up and didn't even bother to look at the rest of the shower because there was more near the shower head and faucet. The furniture is a mixed mash of yard sale furniture that hasn't been upgraded probably since the 90's. None of it matches and it's so uncomfortable to sit on it has no support anymore because

This lodge was absolutely incredible. We visited for our anniversary and the accomedations could not have been more perfect. The gondola was super close in addition to the grocery store and an awesome sports rental store. We will absolutely be coming back and will be bringing the kiddos. From the moment we checked in, we knew we had found a gem. We booked a Junior Suite room and could not have expected anything better. The kitchen was spotless with every necessary appliance to make meals, and the room felt like our own personal mountain lodge for the duration of our stay. We enjoyed it so much that we called the front desk to extend our stay and spoke with Mike Ialeggio. We had mentioned we were newly engaged, and not only did he extend our stay, he surprised us with a handwritten note and bottle of wine in our refrigerator. This lodge was nice. Rented a 1 bedroom for 2 nights and 1 day. The staff is very nice. The only complaint is that they have no AC. Open windows for cooling. Their location is beautiful and easy to get to the free gondola. The gondola is basically your source of public transportation when you're here, but it's a beautiful ride on it and very short and convenient. Love this town. If you entered telluride from Ridgway, please do the San Juan scenic byway to the million dollar highway. Beautiful and breathtaking views and worth it! Continue on the scenic route when you leave here.

Not a bad place to stay overall in terms of location - located along Double Cabin run it's a few steps from the condo buildings to the slopes, where you can ski a short way down to lifts #1 or #10. To get to the gondola it's a 4 min walk on a footpath or you can take the hotel shuttle. The base village is a short gondola ride away, and if going to Telluride you transfer to the main gondola at base village - from there you'll ride all the way up the mountain and then down to the town.
The accommodation however has flaws. We stayed here for a week in a small two bedroom condo

It's been one of the best Thanksgivings I've personally ever had and thanks to this place my new wife and I had the best time! The hot tubs after a day of skiing were incredible! Also shout out to Haley who is the sweetest and friendliest bartender ever. She made great drinks but also helped us with tons of knowledge and local tips. Also thanks to Bryce who helped us with getting to our room and delivering things to the room when we needed them. We had a great time overall! Thanks from the newlyweds in tiny room 4110!!
