Such a beautiful hotel with unmatched views of the mountains. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Location was walking distance to everything. Definitely recommend The Hotel Telluride to anyone for a quiet getaway anytime of year. Can’t wait to come back.

Perhaps the hotel has a shortage due to covid but the staff was definitely lacking. We pulled up, no valet, room wasn’t ready, told us they couldn’t store our luggage originally but my husband was able to sort that out. You can either pay $20 to self park in a garage or find parking on the street for free. The room itself looked like something you would stay at a motel 6. I’ll say it’s reasonably priced looking back for what you get. We had to leave early for a family emergency and they were very accommodating at that point in time and we appreciated that.

Hotel is 5 star but customer service is 3 and price is way to much for not having breakfast because of maintenance. My reservation they couldn't find so created a new one but more expensive then I reserved on hotels.com. The room was great but thats the only thing I was able to use as I was there for 1 night passing thru.

Nice bar & restaurant in the Hotel Telluride! The lobby has a fireplace. The restaurant worker told us to feel free to take our drinks there as if it was our home. Really nice of him! We were lucky to be there when chocolate chip cookies came out from the oven. Enjoyed drinks and cookies by the fireplace!!' Had dinner later. Highly recommend!

This review could be a book, instead I'll be brief. If i ever find myself in Telluride, this is where I'll stay. Ben, the desk manager found himself behind the 8-ball through no fault of his own, and stepped up to ensure we were more than satisfied. Huge kudos Ben, thank you for making our stay perfect. The concierge service was amazing too. Dave-o knows the area as a local for 47 years and Bruce for 36. I can't thank them enough for all their help. Our best to Dave-o, he has a similar event as our ahead. So, stay at 'The Hotel Telluride' and be happy. If i had any suggestion, I'd say for the cost

What i didn't see from the reviews i read on yelp was that this place is in a hotel lobby. this meant that while eating dinner, we heard dogs fighting and watched a woman roll by our table on roller blades, which made for an interesting experience. the food wasn't bad, i got the chicken marsala pasta, and it kind of reminded me of olive garden. nothing too special. the mushroom pieces were so thin you could barely taste them. they do have a drink menu and what appears to be a full bar but nothing on the menu looked great so i didn't order a drink. staff was nice but it was definitely

The cleanliness and amenities are only a small part of why this place was great. What made it outstanding was the staff! Easily best experience I’ve ever had with any hotel and trust me, I’ve stayed at my fair share. Michael, at the front desk went out of his way to help me get check in sooner and gave me a call when the room was ready. Additionally, he gave great recommendations for telluride and activities around the town. With such a great experience, I decided last minute to see if I could stay another night. Knowing that I chose to do this, I knew there was probably a greater chance of

This hotel is one of the most welcoming I have encountered in travels literally around the globe. The town is experiencing a staff shortage and it was recognized everywhere except here. I thought I had been transported back in time or something. Staff (Bruce) - checking on you - by name - as you walk thru lobby is a special touch I haven't experienced in a long time. The general manager making sure your room was right, going way out of his way to make sure. Great guy! The location is perfect. A shaded walk to the gondola station and restaurants in town. We had a wonderful experience and will be

A small, 8-table restaurant in the Hotel Telluride that delivers a great meal for a great price. The cheeseburger and (bountiful portion of) fries were tasty. Probably the best burger in town--and only $15. The Surf and Turf was solid and included a small filet, three scallops, broccoli and mashed potatoes--only $32. Definitely worth a visit. And our waitress was delightful and attentive while taking care of all the tables.

Great facility, wonderful location, and an even better staff! The hotel was clean and well-kept and there were plenty of nice touches (guitar in the lobby, fresh-baked cookies, goody bags for the dog…). The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We were there for one night and they already knew our dog’s name! We seriously cannot say enough nice things about this place. Highly, highly recommend.

We stayed at the Tomboy Condos, which were 350 feet away. This is a small restaurant in the Hotel Telluride. If you like regular American breakfasts, this is your place. Fried eggs, bacon, crispy fried potatoes, toast, biscuits at a fair price. There was a young woman (whose name I can't recall) that waited on us 3 days in a row. Very informative and helpful. Give it a try.

Worst service I have ever had. We needed to dispute our credit card charges after as the waiter charged us twice and lost a credit card but that was just the beginning. The one bright spot is that the food was amazing and if given different wait staff I think our night would have gone much better. I have never felt so unwelcome and so much hostility from a waiter. To begin we had an 8PM reservation and were not seated until 830pm but we are on mountain time so understood. Once seated we had to ask multiple times to order and did not end up getting done with our meal till after 10pm with a mostly

We went here because we were staying at the hotel. I feel a bit badly for the staff as there is no signage, so people don't know they need to wait to be seated and they take reservations apparently. The dining room extends into the lobby too.
The menu is simple, but hits all the points. They have a modest bar, beer, and wine list.
My hubs and I split the soup of the day, which was cream of asparagus, which was so good. My husband got the burger and i got the surf and turf.
The focus here is that the proteins were cooked PERFECTLY. We asked for rare, and got it. My steak was almost a tartar

I stayed at The Telluride Hotel and because it was cold and raining I opted to check out the restaurant there. It was a little concerning because there were only about 6 tables and not full at 7:00 p.m. Well I was happily surprised with great food.
Our server was prompt and delightful. We ordered a cocktail and glass of wine to start with our baked Brie. It came with quite a few add-ons like walnuts that I'm not a fan of but overall good. My mother ordered the street tacos and they were nothing special but very affordable. I ordered the 5oz filet and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly

This is a strange place... some of the tables are scattered throughout the lobby of the hotel, which can be awkward.
The food was mediocre, at best. I ordered the ramen & was disappointed (it was lacking flavor). Everyone at our table was underwhelmed with their orders. The tiramisu, however, was delicious.
I will not he going back here, there are too many other amazing options here in this town.

Tucked away in The Hotel Telluride, this is probably the most overlooked/underrated restaurant in town. Whether you're looking for a simple burger or splurging on a steak, you honestly can't go wrong. The quality of food is on point.
As of writing this I'm confident they have the best veggie burger in town as well.
