Services
Naturalists are 2 years old at the time of entrance to school. Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for either one and a half hours or two and a half hour program. Potty training is not required! Our small classroom sizes and compassionate teachers help create a warm and secure environment for your child's first school experience.
The Trailblazers program is designed to help the young preschooler gain independence through learning, become successful communicators, and make cognitive discoveries with literacy, math, science and social studies. Our thematic curriculum is carefully researched and follows NAEYC's guidelines to promote communication, learning, discovery, cooperation, self-assurance, and physical agility.
The Explorers program is focused on preparing your preschooler for the Kindergarten experience. The curriculum is thematic with an emphasis on science and social studies. Within this structure, the preschool child will work on necessary skills required by school districts in areas of math, literacy, fine and gross motor and social/emotional development.
Adventurers program is designed for the mature 4 and 5 year old child. This program meets Monday through Friday mornings 9:00am-11:30 and Monday through Friday afternoons 12:00pm-2:30pm. The school year runs September through May and follows District 47 school calendar for holidays. The Adventurers program is an extension of the Explorers program themes.
In the summer months your child can continue their enriching experiences with us at Purple Moose Enrichment Preschool. Campers ages 2-6 are welcome to join us during the month of June, July and August. Camp offers many hands-on learning adventures through thematic units.
