Services
Our school's strong reputation is based on our proud track record for excellence. Our approach is based upon the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. At Montessori Pathways we offer a lovely classroom setting where children work in an atmosphere of freedom and responsibility. The Montessori materials provide a sound academic base.
At Montessori Pathways Summer Camp, our goal is to provide campers with an opportunity to retain and develop their skills in a relaxed summer atmosphere. We will combine exciting adventures with creative opportunities for learning. While forming new friendships, children will have ample time for play, personal growth and free exploration.
The Montessori Pathways School believes that before children can take advantage of a good education, they need to know how to learn. Only then can we aid children in the development of basic skills and the ability to judge, think and create. Our school introduces the child to the joy of learning by providing a framework in which intellectual and social discipline can develop.
Alexander Graham Bell helped to start one of the first Montessori schools in the United States. Jean Piaget's (famous child psychologist) theory of cognitive development was profoundly influenced by Dr. Montessori's observations. He was president of the Montessori Society in Switzerland for many years.
The Morning Class is the heart of the Montessori experience. Each group of children is a little community. The multi-age grouping of 3, 4 and 5 year olds creates opportunities for collaboration and cooperation. By developing a sense of responsibility for themselves and others, children grow in self-discipline and self-esteem.

My younger children are from the foster care system. My girls have not had an easy path, but eventually we did have the good fortune to find Montessori Pathways.
I am a single parent to 4 children and worried that the cost would be difficult, but there is no price for peace of
