Born in Rochester, New York, Dr. Kris Togias completed his early education in Greece. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Togias completed his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Rochester, after which he moved to Boston. He earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and went on to complete a postgraduate specialty residency in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics.
Dr. Elliott Moskowitz has been providing high-quality orthodontic treatment for many years. His orthodontic patients come from not only the Greenwich Village area, but from other areas in Manhattan and surrounding areas.
He is an expert clinical orthodontist, clinical professor of orthodontics in the department of orthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, author of over 100 orthodontic publications, including chapters in orthodontic textbooks; editor of respected orthodontic and dental journals, clinical researcher and board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.He has received many awards and honors.

I was not entirely impressed by the treatment received from Manhattan Family Orthodontics. The corners of my front teeth were shaved without permission by Dr. Togias. I have noticed that my teeth would look more natural and attractive had he not made this choice. To be entirely honest, Dr. Togias' character struck me as not focused entirely on the practice of orthodontics. He was certainly charming, and yet, regularly seemed to be rushed and a bit distracted. Please note, I am posting under a pseudonym as I would prefer to avoid any unpleasantries between myself and the considerate office secretaries

Dr.Togias is the best orthodontist you can ask for. He has an extremely warm and caring personality and treats all of his patients as family. He’s given me the smile I’ve always wanted and for that, I’ll always be grateful. He’s also very patient and very knowledgeable so if you’re looking for a great orthodontist, then Dr.Togias is the doctor you want to go see! He also has the nicest staff ever!! They’re all always so wonderful and lovely and always greet you with huge smiles. Everyone at Manhattan Family Orthodontics is absolutely AMAZING!!!

I can't recommend Dr. Togias and the entire Manhattan Family Orthodontics crew enough. Both me and my son have gone through treatment there and I will surely take my daughter when it's her turn for braces. They are friendly, professional, and have taken safety as their number one priority for patients while open during the pandemic. Seriously, if you are going to get braces done for you or your family, go here.

I was recommended by a friend that had a very severe orthodontic case, and his teeth looked great after his treatment. I just wanted to align my upper teeth and really work on my bottom teeth that was crooked since I was little. It was great because I could do Invisalign on top and clear braces on the bottom.
I am so glad I chose MFO, they are lovely people, super accommodating and they are absolutely great professionals! All emergencies I had were handled and I am moving now towards the end of my treatment. I am very happy with it and I have already seen a huge difference in my smile!! They are

Sometimes there are not enough words to say what you really want to say. Literally they changed my life.
