Tami is originally from West Palm Beach, FL. She holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports Science and a minor in Sports Nutrition from Carson Newman University (1992), a private school located in Jefferson City, TN / their exercise sport science program was rated second in academics in the nation.
Health, fitness and helping others define Lisa Holland. Always a competitor and fitness fan, Lisa pursued a career in fitness as a general manager, personal trainer and fitness instructor for various health clubs. She earned her certifications with International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), National Association for Health and Fitness (NAHF) and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
Dana Inman has been teaching fitness for more than 30 years. Certified as a personal trainer and a group exercise instructor, she has taught everything from high-impact aerobics to yoga. It wasn't until Pilates entered her life that she developed true body awareness and balance. She now is completely fulfilled and carrying out her passion of teaching and sharing with others what she feels is the "missing link" in the world of fitness.
Throughout his life, Bobby Strausser has always been into sports and fitness. From playing lacrosse, golf, basketball, to backcountry skiing, distance running, and now weight training, he enjoys experiencing all forms of fitness. Bobby started weight training during his sophomore year of high school and was instantly hooked on the many ways it improved his strength, endurance, and his confidence.

I've been a member at Genesee Mountain Fitness for a couple of years. All the reviews for GMF have always been glowing, so I never felt the need to write a review. But I do feel compelled now, because of the impact that COVID is having on local businesses.
Tami and Lisa are bullish on keeping all the equipment clean, wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. I train twice a week, with Tami, and am absolutely comfortable and reassured when I see everyone pitching in to sanitize the equipment after they use it.

I am a member at Genesee Mountain Fitness and I LOVE IT!!! I purchased personal training sessions when I started to get me on the right track and now am able to do the workouts Lisa taught me on my own. It's a great, positive and friendly environment. I also love the classes offered, especially in the winter when running outside is a little more challenging. The spin classes are a fantastic alternative for me!! GREAT gym run by great people - highly recommend!

I recommend Lisa (co-owner of Genesee Mountain Fitness) for anyone that wants a versatile, knowledgeable and disciplined trainer – and while she expects hard work out of her clients, she works hard to ensure training is a fun experience. The trainers are always updating their repertoire so their client offering stays up-to-date. There is a sense of community in the gym with the trainers and clients as many are long time users of the gym. Last but not the least, Lisa always works to accommodate my busy schedule which assures me my training time, no matter what my work or personal life schedule
