Somewhere in my mid forties I realized that my old workout plan just didn't work for me anymore. It was harder to maintain my "fighting weight, " and when I worked out hard enough to stay in shape, I needed a lot more time to sleep, rest and recover. With a busy schedule, it sometimes just didn't happen.

I became a certified personal trainer in my mid-forties, after a twenty-five-year career in the book publishing supply chain. It was a major mid-life career change for me, but it made perfect sense to turn my passion for fitness into my career. Like many of you, I have had a love-hate relationship with exercise and fitness my whole life (love the way it makes me feel; hate making time for it and hate the smelly gym scene).

Leeann really makes fitness feel good. I am a long time client and I have been converted! I now don't go two days without exercise. I integrated my workout routine in my day and it feels good.
