There is nothing wrong with the food there, it is quite good. My issue is with the guy on the phone who takes my order. He is one of the rudest, nastiest people I have ever dealt with and don't understand how he can keep a job there. He has been outright rude to me, and has actually hung up on me and yelled at me when I have not said anything out of place. I had almost stopped going to this restaurant due to him, but I love their vegetarian sub, which I've had 15-20 times. So, today I called to place my order for pick up and he told me they don't make veggie subs. I told him yes

This owner refused to listen to my order..I was clean polite..but bigotry and jealousy will not go away..so for all my black and brown friends..plz do use this pizza store..

I always ordered a large cheese for a pick up and always close my eye on how the insiders treat their customers!

I ordered 3 pizzas for a little get together and they were absolutely horrible! They were not cooked and over salty.The pizza flopped over and the cheese and topping fell completely off. I called them and told them the pizzas were not cooked and they said we showed up to early to pick them up, I said and you just gave us uncooked pizza before they were cooked, that’s just terrible business and can get people sick. The owner said nothing I can do, won’t be going back to this $?!tty place again!

As far as the Pizza, sometimes it's right on the money DELICIOUS. Other times it's wet, soggy and drenched in cheese. Employees could be nicer especially the main guy at the register always yelling at someone and could use a class or five on CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Pizza crust was super soggy, you could not hold it to eat, even with utensils was quite difficult and unpleasant. I don't recommend eating inside, the owner is yelling constantly through the phone while taking orders and simultaneously correcting the cashier and cooks in the bach.

Top 3 pizza I’ve ever had. Only place that I’ve tried nearby that compares is Galleria Umberto.
The crust is perfectly crunchy, the cheese is salty, the toppings are amazing. We almost always order a pizza with olives, bell pepper, tomato, and spinach, and I highly recommend it.
We stick to the pizza mostly, but the meatball calzone is pretty good, and the mozzarella sticks are all right.

I really love their greek pizza. The toppings are a great mix. Olives, feta, spinach.... One of my go to spots. Good attention to detail when I request a well done pizza. Thank you.

First, we've been customers for over 30 years and usually have a great experience. Tonight we ordered an Italian sub not in the oven and a kids meal for pick up. We pick it up get it home and it's a chicken parm sub and a chicken Caesar salad. We call them, they apologize and say they will bring the correct order right up. So it arrives...the sub that was not to be in the oven was indeed put in the oven and BURNT. Seriously burnt. What happened MHOP?

With so many pizza places to choose from these days I also like to try other items on their menu. I heard about the salads here from my mom's neighbors at the Jonathan Cochran House so I decided to try them for myself. OMG from the nice tender chicken to their fabulous Greek house dressing their Greek chicken salad did not disappoint. We've also since tried the Chef's Salad and it was a hit with my boyfriend. Both are a must.

Excellente tasting pizza, we have been odering from this place for a number of years and the pizza is consistenly good.

Highly upset at this place. My wife and I usually order here for pickup and absolutely love the food. Tonight though different case, I ordered a steak tip with fries and ended up receiving steak tip and rice. Annoyed but fixable, called them back and the person that answered said i would get fries sent. Guy showed up 35 mins later with a bag of soggy fries. Pissed.

The absolute BEST Buffalo Chicken Salad I have ever eaten!!!
I make it a point to get this at least once a week.

If you like Greek pizza, this is the place! Delicious, classic, perfectly done. The crust is that elusive combo of crispy, light, yet also chewy. The cheese and sauce have an almost buttery finish.

Family run business since the 70s. Clean shop, friendly service. The best around!

Cold calzone, undercooked and cold fries and the reason... we are busy. We won't be back .. lots of pizza places in Melrose who are willing to either deliver warm food or take ownership . Peace out guy

Delicious Pizza Friendly Staff in a casual environment. If I need a quick pie and don't want to travel to far this is the place to go for some delicious pizza.

Giving 3 stars is hard because the food is great but due to poor service we won't be back.

Incredibly weird experience with this place. We ordered from melhop about once a week for a year. Delivery was always prompt and food was excellent! On the last occasion we ordered our food never arrived. We called to see what was up and were told that the delivery person arrived and found we were not there and we rent answering our phone... my phone was right beside me and had never rang/ I had no missed calls. In top of that I was told that this had happened *countless times* and if we wanted our

Taste was ok. Garlic bread was good. Just surprising that for delivery the crust was extremely soggy. So soggy that just by lifting one piece, half the toppings came off. Probably won't order delivery here again. I would advise not to unless you like soaking wet crust.

Awesome local pizza shop just down the road from memorial hall. Plenty of pizza and sub options that are easy on the wallet. Not from the area but if I ever have another function or event to go to in the area, I'll definitely hit them up.

Of all the pizza dough I've tasted, this place is the best.

Big family was here for vacation this summer and we ate in and took out from this place. The pizzas were hot and had plenty of toppings. The canzone my wife and I ordered was the Buffalo chicken one. Oh my God, that was delicious! And HUGE!

We enjoyed all the different pizzas we had too.

The prices are very reasonable, the sizes are big, and the staff friendly. Can't beat all that.
