Teresa K. Bowman P.A. is an Estate Planning and Elder Law firm headed by Sarasota Elder Law Attorney Teresa K. Bowman, Esq. My mission is simple. I listen and help you and your family develop a plan to meet your needs. This usually starts with a review of your current estate planning documents and your overall goals.
Most estate planning work is done on a flat fee basis. The fees quotes are based on drafting documents, minor redrafting as needed, and a follow-up meeting to execute the documents. The fees include copies of the finalized documents as requested and we will provide PDF copies by secure email as well.
Assisting individuals in qualifying for long-term care assistance programs such as Medicaid and Veterans Benefits. Teresa is a frequent speaker on issues affecting those dealing with illness or disability in Sarasota County and has spoken at statewide and national conferences as an advocate for seniors.
Rachel B. Schadt is focused on communication and compassion while guiding clients along the challenging paths of estate planning, trusts and long-term care. Rachel works with both her head and heart to address critical issues clients face. Rachel is a seventh generation Floridian, third generation attorney, and a Sarasota native.

Attorney Bowman and her entire staff were friendly and extremely professional. I was referred to her because I needed an attorney that was knowledgeable of establishing special needs trusts. I can't say enough good things about Teresa and her office. Mom had a tragic fall in Ohio and we had to air ambulance her to Florida. All of the Ohio documents had to be redone. From the initial meeting, she and her office were very thorough, organized and prompt. She visited the skilled nursing facility a few times to meet with mom. Teresa's demeanor is so calming and my mom immediately trusted her. She made the difficult tasks in a difficult time much easier. Special thanks to Liz, her paralegal. Every e-mail was answered by the end of the day.
