KING BED, In suite bathroom facilities, a more modern shower tub. This is a King sized bed in a small room Upstairs, no elevator, in the Hotel. No children under the age of 5. The TV and Fridge and Microwave is located downstairs in the lobby and common areas. Not sound proof, please do your part being respectful to the other guests by keeping noise and voices down 10 pm to 6 am and we hope they will do the same.
Discover the history, nature, and atmosphere of Yellowstone's natural wonderland by resting in our clean and cozy rooms. Our Motel rooms have most everything to offer. No cooking in the rooms, but there is a large BBQ grill and picnic tables under a large awning, lit for the evening. All rooms are on ground level, with free parking.
This room is located on the ground level with free convenient parking adjacent to the door. Two comfortable full sized beds, that will sleep up to four people. HDTV Direct TV, Fridge, Microwave and plenty of outlets for your personal electronics. The washroom has a toilet, sink and shower. No Roll-a-way available.

We loved staying at the Historic Madison Hotel! Just minutes away from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, it was the perfect location for us to stay during our trip. We loved the town of West Yellowstone and really appreciated the coupons to the great restaurant next door. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived late after office was closed. That was fine they had my key tapped to the door like they said.
1st they gave a map that did not give very clear direction to our room. Took us 30 minutes to figure out it was up the steeps.
2nd we got a room that was very small. A bigger person would have a very hard time in this room. The door handle was the only thing that locked no dead bolt no chain lock.

Bed was comfortable but after all day in Yellowstone. I am sure anything would be nice. + on the bed

I strongly suggest to stay here at this hotel! It is so amazing! It's just beautiful! The owners are so awesome! They are a lot of fun and very funny! It's family owned and they definitely treat you like family, Eve ad far as jumping out from anywhere in the building, just to scare you!! They are the best people you will ever meet! Guarantee! The employees are are almost as fun!! They work hard to make sure you have a pleasant stay! It truly is an amazing, awesome, beautiful place to stay and to meet great people! You won't be sorry!!

Overall, not bad for a motel. The shower could really use some maintenance/cleaning though. I felt gross taking a shower in there. The grout looks dirty, the shower curtains should be replaced or at least more thoroughly cleaned as there was black marks on it, and the ceiling in the shower also had blacks spots on it that appeared to be mold. Customer service was good. Place was overall quiet and very close to downtown and of course to Yellowstone.

Great hotel! Location was perfect, lots of shots and restaurants within walking distance and just blocks from Yellowstone main gate. Staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions (also very funny). Room was clean and comfy. DEFINITELY stay there again when in the area!

I stayed here June 2021. We were very happy with our choice. The rooms were very historic, clean, and beautiful. We were very happy to get a food voucher for the place next door. They have an ice maker, shared refrigerator, and coffee/ hot coco marker. All shared place is kept very clean. They have a great lobby, if you ask their staff and speak to you about the hotel and tell you fun facts about the items in the lobby. They also have a cool shop. Hotel guest get a discount on items in the store. GREAT business! We would like to come back when we are around the area.

Made a special trip to the Madison gift shop on our way back from Mt Rushmore to Washington state because we stayed in West Yellowstone last year and got a shirt that was only available at the Madison shop. I checked. Anyway I wanted a smaller size due to losing weight and I love the shirt. Stopped in on 07/08/2021 two young girls both with glasses, one short blonde the other longer brown were working.
