The Diamond Room specializes in designing custom engagement rings for couples that know they deserve something special. Your engagement ring and wedding bands will become part of you from the moment you both say "I Do" and will become part of your family's history for generations. Through a magical combination of chemistry and electricity, we have finally mastered the art of diamond creation. And they are truly amazing to behold. And since they can create a more efficient crystal SHAPE, they don't lose as much as the diamond when they cut it. Many people are asking whether or not lab grown diamonds will hold their value over time.
Most diamonds are cut too deep, allowing light to escape out the bottom and sides, yielding duller and smaller looking diamond. We hand-pick every diamond we sell, choosing only those correctly-proportioned and properly cut to unleash their maximum sparkle, regardless of their size. From our electricity-created diamonds to traditional geological diamonds (in virtually every shape and size that exists), you'll find no dull, lifeless diamonds here.

Best ring purchasing/planning experience we could have asked for. Went to multiple retail ring shops, even some highly recommended mom and pop shops to find the perfect ring or to find someone would could design the perfect one. Everyone else was way overpriced and subpar customer service, until we met with Matt and Daniel at the Austin Diamond room. They listened to everything we wanted, made super smart suggestions, and made the ring of our dreams!! Will never go anywhere for diamonds ever again!

Matt and his team are absolutely incredible. I asked Matt to track down a specific watch model for me, and he had it flown in and was able to get it for me at a more-than-fair price. We set an appointment in their fantastic showroom, and They walked me through the features of my new watch.

They took my ideas & designed the most beautiful ring that I could have imagined!! How they can take the designs and put them into a CAD movie to allow you to see what the ring design will look like is so neat!! Not sure where to even begin, but Matt at the Austin Diamond room is absolutely the best. From the very first meeting, he made it comfortable and was much more educated and helpful than any of the ring stores I had visited prior. I felt zero pressure to buy a ring quickly, and genuinely felt that Matt wanted me to take my time and enjoy the process. I ultimately went with a custom ring which we couldn't be happier with. To put it simply, Matt is unlike any other ring store in Austin and is worth a visit. I have no doubt you will enjoy the experience and at the very least learn some key details

I brought a diamond in over 2 years ago & put it on consignment. I was told that because of the size & clarity that it would sell in no time. That hasn't been the case at all. My efforts to reach out sometimes also went unanswered. Yesterday, I tried again & informed Matt Odesky that I'd be picking up my diamond. Still nothing, so I tried calling again. We have had nothing but exceptional experiences with Matt at The Austin Diamond Room. We first started exclusively purchasing through him a decade ago, as we were selecting our wedding rings. Most recently, he delivered once again with a stunning 10th anniversary infinity diamond ring. He helped my husband find the perfect cushion cut diamonds to build my ring, and then set it in wax because my husband wanted me to be able to choose my own setting. I went in to get some appraisals done. Not only did I get those but they sized 3 rings so I could wear them. This means so much to me. They also replaced posts on some earrings with screw backs. Now maybe I won't keep losing them.
They kept me safe in these Covid times, were quick and affordable. I have been looking for a local jeweler to replace the one I had in Seattle 8 years ago.
I feel fortunate to have a jeweler that I trust.

I have used the Austin Diamond for 2 custom projects now and Matt exceeded our expectations for a competitive price. It's out of the way on the second story of an office building. I was a little nervous at first until I opened the door and saw the beautiful showroom area. It also helps that he has a scotch collection so we can sip while we shop. I recently referred a friend to have her wedding band re-done and she messaged me thanking me for the referral. He did a great job on hers as well. Definitely recommend the Austin Diamond Room.

After visiting several other locations for an engagement ring, we set up an appointment at The Austin Diamond Room. Matt went above and beyond for us by coming in on his day off to help us out because it was the only day that my boyfriend (now fiancé) could go. I gave Matt a very vague description of what I wanted and he took me directly to a section where we found the perfect ring. My fiancé worked with Matt to surprise me with the most BEAUTIFUL solitaire diamond. Matt is super knowledgable, and asked my fiancé to bring in photos of my hands so he could try and decipher my ring size, and what would look best on my hand (big knuckle probs!), and the ring turned out perfectly. I didn't realize that my three piece wedding set were all different sizes... but what I did notice was that I was having a hard time wearing them after gaining a few pounds. I was reluctant on getting them resized because I had heard that it could loosen up the diamonds. Matt from The Austin Diamond Room assured me that it could be done. Within a few days, I got my wedding set back that didn't make me feel like I was cutting off circulation to my finger when I wore it. He even polished it up and it all looks so brand new! Now I can wear my wedding set every day and oh how it sparkles

Matt O'Desky is amazing. He is the owner of The Austin Diamond Room. My cousin was visiting from California and mentioned her was going to propose. He didn't have a ring so I quickly connected him to Matt.
Matt met him the next day despite having UT football tickets. The relationship was formed and contributed after he returned to CA. Matt made a custom ring and got it to him.
A great benefit to living out of state is there is no sales tax.
