Our training facility provides a great area for developing the skill and determination needed to succeed in taekwondo. Services
Master Ron Evans started his martial art career in 1976. He trained with Bob Scott and Gary Green at Kings Karate academy in Ironton, Ohio. Kings Karate Academy switched to United Fighting Arts Federation (UFAF) under the Chuck Norris system where he continued to train until 1980. In 1980, he began his taekwondo training at Songs Martial Arts with Grandmaster Ji Young Song in Flatwoods, Kentucky.
Taekwon Moodo Association was established in 2002 by Grandmaster Ron Hickey for the purpose of regulating rank and curriculum for his students. Grandmaster Hickey along with Master Kurt Ballman teach at College Hill Recreation Center where the initial founding school "College Hill Taekwondo Institute" is housed.

I was a student for almost 6 years and enjoyed every moment of training. I made many friendships and learned so much, not just about the art of taekwondo, but about myself and others. Every experience was worth while. I can personally say, out of all the sports I have tried, this has been my favorite. I highly recommend joining. You are treated like family.

Our oldest son has been coming here for 18 months and loves coming. All of the instructors are great and are like a second family. He has more self confidence and has learned a lot about respect. We have had such a great experience that our 4 year old has started in the last month.

We've had a wonderful experience at Stillwater. Both of our daughters take taekwondo and enjoy it very much. The owner and instructors are well trained and offer a very positive and safe environment for our children where respect and discipline are mutual among the students and teachers. We've been so pleased that we have recommended Stillwater to others.
