As a new patient, your child will meet with our pediatric specialist, Dr. Tanya Vaysman, who will conduct an initial evaluation of their orthodontic health.

Crowding is very common in children during the development of permanent dentition and must be addressed early so that sufficient space for the permanent teeth can be established. Front open bite often develops in children who have a thumb sucking habit. There is also no overlap between the upper and lower front teeth.

Originally gave this 1 star because I had a poor experience with the front desk on scheduling appointments and changing quoted prices. I am updating my review because Dr Vaysman has corrected the issue.
Dr Vaysman heard my concerns and called me directly to ensure I got seen the day of day of and that my new retainers fit correctly.

I still feel that this place is overpriced for Invisalign and that my Veera retainers should not have increased by 50% within a month of first getting my quote.
Hopefully once the pandemic ends Dr Vaysman will be able to get better quality

Dr. Vaysman is attentive and takes the time to listen to your concerns. I appreciated her taking the time to explain to me mid Invisalign process why I needed to get rescanned and get new trays (all this is at no extra cost). The staff was very helpful in answering my initial Invisalign queries and helped me to figure out if insurance covered any of the cost. The receptionists are warm and friendly. Great overall experience.

I have known Dr. Tanya for many years now as she treated both of my kids. She was so wonderful with them and so pleasant to be around. I then finally decided to take a plunge and do Invisalign for myself. My permanent retainer came off after 15+ years. My regular dentist tried to put it back on, but it was all wrong. So I came here to fix the problem. The staff is all super friendly, from the front desk to the dental assistants, to the dentist. My problem was literally fixed in probably 5 minutes. The dentist knew exactly what to do, explained properly and fixed it immediately. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They also mentioned to come back the next week for a check-in with any problems. I would definitely recommend.

T is known that the words "kids" and "dentist" don't always go well together; however, not when it comes to Upper Eastside Orthodontists. I have witnessed kids coming in to the dentist and leaving with a smile.
My daughter completed her braces, and the care she received during the treatment and her smile afterward are outstanding for a hard-to-please mom. :))

I love how amazing my Envisaging treatment is progressing. When I see myself on Zoom calls now, I am not embarrassed of my smile anymore. The staff is/always been very welcoming and accommodating! I have never had hard time coming in to resolve any issues regarding my orthodontic treatment. Scheduling has never been an issue and I am always being seen on time. The staff and specialist are amazing and treat everyone with kindness!

My children never complain about going. We were told by another orthodontist that my daughter's teeth would need to be pulled. Upper Eastside Orthodontists managed to expand her mouth enough so she would not have to go through that and her teeth are starting to fit beautifully in place. We are always welcomed with a smile, and now my 2 other kids are starting treatment as well. This time around, I am taking three children for simultaneous treatment, and they are always able to accommodate three back-to-back appointments so I can conveniently bring the kids in together, which makes my life

I am highly satisfied with the service I have received so far and keep receiving on the appointments. The are true masters of Invisalign treatment. The doctor and her team are experience and have a kind and professional attitude. I can see my smile progressing almost at a daily basis. Like so many, I had braces as a kid and never wore my retainers. Eventually, one of my bottom front teeth moved so far back, it looked like I was missing a tooth in photos! That was the only reason I decided to do Invisalign. But at my initial consultation with Dr. Vaysman, she actually pointed out many other issues that would be fixed with Invisalign-- I had a slight overbite with my top teeth protruding out, one of my top central incisors was in front of the other, my top lateral incisors flared sideways, and the bite of my molars had a gap between them

Dealing with the care of teeth in general, regardless of treatment, from a cleaning to a removal, is never a "fun" experience. However, Dr. Vaysman and her colleagues have a way to make the experience of getting that beautiful smile, and all orthodontia care a much more pleasant one. When you are being treated, you are never rushed and are made to feel that you are their one and only patient; their only concern; their priority. Have questions? Ask them.

I've been a patient since I started Invisalign in the fall of 2018 (currently on my 3rd round of trays so likely a few more months left to go). I discovered Dr. Vaysman through my dentist after I had been unsuccessfully trying to shop around on my own for orthodontic work & even researching some of the direct-to-consumer/at-home versions. In addition to wanting my teeth straightened out for appearance reasons, one of my molars was misaligned/impacted and had the potential to cause a lot of dental issues down the line.

Great Invisalign experience. I shopped around to 5 different orthos and settled here, despite them being more expensive.
I chose Dr. Vaysman 2.5 years ago because another ortho had told me what I wanted to hear: that I could get it done by just putting buttons on the back of my teeth. I'm a working professional and was worried about how things would look during my two years of Invisalign. She told me, "look, if that was true, don't you think everyone would do it? He's not being truthful and will change the buttons to the front after a few months." That spoke to me.
