You know how there is so much information on fitness and nutrition that it's confusing (even frustrating?!) to figure out what really works? Well, we understand your issues and have made it our mission to solve them by providing metabolic (aka fat burning) workouts and transformation programs with accountability and community that deliver the results you have been chasing.
I am new to the Fitness Asylum. Do I need to fill any forms? All participants will need to fill out an online Liability Waiver or can be filled out upon your first visit. Looking forward to meeting you! Do I need to be cleared by my doctor to participate in classes? If you are not cleared for exercise by your physician, we do ask for written clearance from your doctor before participating in any of our programs.
Strength training is hands down the number one way to change your body composition and LOSE BODY FAT. We have designed our classes to help you achieve your goals without getting bored, getting stuck without results, or feeling like an outsider (because we know that's what happens at many gyms). Our Bootcamp classes are 40-45 minutes of work time done in stations, circuit style (with a few different formats that we rotate regularly).

Schedule an appointment with one of our fitness professionals who will lead you through a body-composition analysis that includes more than 20 measurements! The InBody test lasts approximately 45 seconds, and then will be followed by a short consultation to describe the data and answer questions.

Went for my first class to attend the Sat beginners group. It was a small class which was good. It's held weekly and the instructor explained and demonstrated every station of the circuit.
The class is about 45 min and we did the workout with a partner for a "You Go - I Go" class.
We did about 30 sec of exercise then 30 sec of rest as we switch off. We went for two sets around each station.
The class seemed to go by fast since we're really moving along. No time to get bored which I like compared to going to a gym on my own having to think of what to do.

I think the workouts are great, but I'm surprised that there is no attempt to include stretching either before or after the workout. At another boot camp I attended, stretching (both moving and stationary) was a part of each class. At Fitness Asylum, I have twice pulled muscles which I think could have been prevented if stretching were part of the program.
