I'm a recovering perfectionist, but enjoy taking care in all the little details of your experience in the salon. In the last few years I've become passionate about creating an environment for people to explore authenticity within their beauty and grooming routines.
I appreciate minimalism and love being able to assist someone in finding solutions for their hair and lifestyle. When I'm not with clients at the salon, I love to travel, learn new things, and spend as much of my day spoiling my fur baby as possible!

Services
A: Currently we are operating as safely as possible while following CDC guidelines. Our team is vaccinated and we continue to practice stringent cleaning and sanitation. As always, please do not visit the salon if you are sick or have had exposure to someone who is sick. At this time we are asking all of our unvaccinated clients to wear a mask - for vaccinated clients masks are optional.

I can't say enough good things about Metric. Both Alyssa and Brooke are very talented and better...actually care about a client's issues with their hair. They were amazing after I was laid off due to Covid and were incredibly accommodating. Unfortunately, I had my last appointment today since I need to leave the state soon to seek better job opportunities, but Metric will be on the top of the list of the things I will miss about Tulsa.

Every time I have an appointment here with the lovely and talented Haley Cypert my self esteem is even better than my hair. She puts in the work to understand how to cut all of her clients' hair types, which my curly but fine hair greatly appreciates. Haley is always on the hunt for the best way to style you, wash you, etc. and the word adequate isn't in her vocabulary. I don't even live in Tulsa anymore but I'm still a diehard client and always will be. I can't recommend Haley Cypert at Metric enough.

I would not recommend this Salon, or specifically stylist Rachel, because the cuts I receive are inconsistent. If I do not remind Rachel at the very beginning not to thin my hair out, my hair gets thinned out. The best cuts I have received from Rachel is when I remind her not to thin out my hair. I began seeing Rachel when she worked at another salon downtown. My first haircut with her was so good that I didn't go back for an entire year. When I did go back, I failed to remind Rachel not to thin out my hair, and my hair got thinned out. I was so disappointed in the way it laid that I asked for

Rachel is the absolute best!..! She always does a GREAT job.. I don't ever really have to tell her what to do and I always LOVE it when she is done. I've been going to her for several years. She also did my hair and makeup for my wedding. I highly recommend her :) thanks for always doing so great Rachel!

RACHEL IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST STYLIST I HAVE EVER EVER HAD. She does everything I've ever asked for and always gives me exactly what I want and need. She is always on her best game and never ceases to amaze me. She always gives her ABSOLUTE BEST TO EVERY SINGLE CLIENT she goes to considering she has so many clients that walks away happy.
