Lauren began her career in 2004 after graduating from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs where she not only received her diploma but also a license in Cosmetology. She assisted under a stylist in a well know salon for one year before accepting clients of her own. After 14 years with her first salon, Lauren decided to take a leap and buy her own salon, Backstage Hair Design!

I went to Ulta for a perm and it turned out AWFUL. I left there with frizzy hair that wasn't even curly. Feeling helpless, I contacted backstage hair design and got with Joan. She knew exactly what to do to save my hair and even guided me on how to get a refund back from Ulta. Joan is so knowledgeable, fun, and gives you a really great experience. It's SO hard to find a good hair stylist that you can trust. Joan is one of those hair stylist. I would highly recommend her! ❤️❤️

Lauren does a wonderful job coloring and cutting my hair. Always makes me love my hair when done. It’s a very clean and very cute shop and nicely decorated. Actually my sister, nephew and my parents all go to her. She’s great and she does a great job too! Love getting my hair done there!

I can finally say after living in Tulsa for 6 yrs, I have a hair stylist that I will be staying with. Lauren , the owner was my hairstylist today and she was such a nice , professional person. Made me comfortable with my alopecia issue, and took care of my hair for me. I walked out of that salon today feeling pretty confident (just by getting a hair cut) that should say a lot !! 10/10 highly recommend!!!
