Chef Alberto Delbello and his wife Denise Delbello have been catering private parties and events for decades. They have been hosts to some of the most discriminating clients while at their up-scale Walnut Street address. And they bring that same attention to detail it takes to you, at Il Portico. Whether an intimate small party or grand festive affair, no detail will go overlooked!
From the sawdust on the ground to the mounted taxidermy on the walls, Hunter is where modern Texans go to relive the turn of the 19th century. Their dishes are simple, hearty, fresh, and all-around delicious. By focusing purely on food and ambience, Hunter provides the authenticity of the Old West without the costumes and playacting of a themed restaurant.

When two friends and myself entered and were hoping for a table we waited greater than 10 minutes in the area inside the front door for someone to seat us. Finally, one one friend looked around and found the kitchen and let them know we were looking to dine there. An older gentleman came out and seated us telling us that the hostess must have gone to the bathroom. At no point did we see a hostess there.
After he seated us he rattled off the specials and when asked the price on the one meal and he said $34 we decided we couldn’t afford that for an unexpected lunch out and I simply said I would

I'd like to see more variety in the menu, as I don't see much for those who abstain from meat & cheese. Nonetheless, my salad alone could've been my meal, and the entrée of mixed seafood that followed it was utter perfection in it's white wine sauce. Bravo.
Lovely interior, very attentive staff & owner, excellent dishes expertly prepared, live music (for a certain demographic),.We were gifted with a surprise dessert by the owner that was a sheer delight. My date and I left fully satisfied and looking forward to returning.

If you are looking for top rated restaurant, look no further as this is it! No matter if we eat at the bar or in the dining area, our meals and service are always the best. Five stars is simply not enough, maybe five stars+ + + + +. This restaurant is one of the most amazing places I have experienced in a long time. It isn't just fine dining; it's the atmosphere, the music, the family who owns it, and the food that will rock your palate. Words cannot adequately express how awesome this restaurant is. I so wish I lived close. Let me not forget to mention, not only is the food amazing, but the prices are too.

Driving home from a tournament and found this gem. The food was so good. You can tell it is a local favorite. I ordered the gnocchi and couldn’t decide the sauce so the main man (most likely the owner) suggested half and half. I ended up with have four cheese and half pesto and both were great. Lobster bisque soup special was delicious as well along with the red snapper entree my husband got. Very happy we stumbled upon this place! When we come back next tournament season we will definitely stop by! They also had live music that was great while at the same time not at all intrusive to dinner
