The food, atmosphere and entertainment was excellent. The owner and general manager both greet every customer and the entire wait staff is professional and courteous. I highly recommend this spot for a romantic dinner or date night. There's a lot to love about Steak 38. I visited with friends and family tonight for the first time in 15 years.

Well, this used to be our favorite secret restaurant. We would go here to have a delicious dinner and feel like we were taken back in time just walking in the door. Unfortunately, it has changed. We hadn’t been back since just before the pandemic. Apparently, it has changed ownership and it IS very apparent. No more “Steak 38 for two” where you were served a wonderful seafood platter appetizer along with table side Caesar salad and bananas flambé. Haven’t been here in a very long time. Made reservations and my wife and I had a fantastic dinner. I got the largest prime rib available and was delicious. Couldn’t finish it though. Haha. As good as the food was, the service was even better. Our server Pete took fantastic take care of us. When you come here ask for him. Thank you to all the staff and looking forward to next time.

My husband and I went here for date night and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The Steak Diane was absolutely delicious, the ambiance and decor was perfect for the holiday season, and the service was stellar. We were serenaded by Sam, a talented and hospitable gentleman whom made the night extra special for us. Not to mention, the Old Fashions we had were top notch too! Upon exiting, another gentleman was singing Christmas carols while patrons dined. It was delightful. Even the hostess was charismatic and pleasant. Free valet takes the headache out of finding parking, what a fantastic evening. :-)Overall

Went for my husband's birthday and we ordered the Steak 38 for two. Best value ever and you get the table side experience. We sat on the patio, it was heated, with lights, and we even sat by the Christmas tree. Dan was the table side man (the best) and Sam was our waiter. The DeVille margarita is the bomb too. Felt like a NY experience right in Cherry Hill, NEW JERSEY. South Jersey represent!!!

We have passed this place for years and never thought to stop for dinner. After being disappointed on our last meal at The Pub, we were looking for a new steakhouse outside the usual chain places in Philadelphia. Today's craving for red meat led us to Steak 38 Cafe. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, first appearances are deceiving.

Came here for my husband's birthday. This place was recommended to me and exceeded my expectations. Staff is friendly from the door to your table.. Everything was beautiful. Excellent customer service. Our waiter Sam was awesome. His assistant Dan was nice and attentive. Sam sang a Luther Vandross song to us and was very friendly. You can tell Sam loves his job. Food was great as well. Will definitely go back. My friends and I had a great time.

Haven't been here in years but so glad we went back!! The steaks were incredible and perfectly cooked. Got the filet and larger ribeye. Two of us shared the ribeye and there was still some left over! The apps were excellent even during happy hour and were plenty big to share. Dawn the bartender is THE BEST and provides stellar service. Cant wait to go back!!

This place was amazing! Definitely looks shady from the outside, but inside is a hidden gem. Old Sinatra atmosphere. Great food. We had steaks and pasta. All excellent. Great wine and drink selection. Our waiter was Sam.. he made the experience so much more fun! Great service, great personality.. he even serenaded our friends with Billy Ocean for their anniversary! He made Bananas Foster table side for them too. We will definitely be back. You should go too!

When we arrived we had to wait for about 20 minutes which was fine considering we were tempted to sit at the bar anyway. The bartender promptly greeted us with a hearty handshake and made our drinks perfectly. This was my first time there and I'd like to return again soon. Our server was very informative and friendly. The Caesar salad was prepared table side and was very good. Both of us had the steak and ate every last bit of it. Parking is limited so just be prepared to use valet. If you've never treated yourself to eating here, you shouldn't hesitate to visit one day.

Great Steak House... a little in the cut, we almost drove passed it. Small in the inside but intimate... the food, service & drinks are phenomenal! Our waiter Sam, is a beast! He's polite, courteous, patient & he sings!!! The banana Foster is great & they cook it right at your table! The seafood is fresh...one of the best lobster tails I had...so was the shrimp cocktail! Will definitely recommend & will be back!
