Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
Staff are rude and non responsive. Property manager constantly has an attitude. There will definitely be fraudulent charges on your final move sheet and they won't contact you but charge you. Properties are decent for blue collar workers but management makes it unbearable.

Not helpful. Tried to inquire about a property. Talked to a guy there and he didn't even want to get out of his chair to go over pre qualifications. When asked about income he didn't want to help. I told him we make over 3 times the rent and we could submit proof but all I wanted to do was view the property? He wouldn't let us look at it because I told him the wrong monthly income. I had to call my girlfriend who was sitting in the car to verify what we actually make and he still wouldn't help. Like I'm sorry but I don't even know if I want to rent from you let alone not being able to move forward

Selling a home in Kansas City and moving to the area. Advised leasing agent of all of these details upfront as well as the fact that I am relocating 2 fully operational businesses, was told that they needed to be able to verify my income. Advised agent that we owned our home for the passed 15 years and were told that we would be required to pay 3 times the cost of rent to move in due to not being able to verify rental history. Agreed. Offered to provide any information needed to verify ownership of our property, information was declined. Seems to me as if there is no rhyme or reason for rules that

I’ve never experienced worse customer service. I’m renting a pretty old house because it’s walking distance from my university, but there’s been so many things wrong with the house (plumbing system, bathrooms leaking, stove not working, refrigerator leaking, etc.). And I’ve dreaded having to call them because they treat me and my family like everything’s our fault. They’re very rude, demeaning and want to charge for every little thing, even if it’s not our fault. If you’re considering renting with them, don’t. Anything is better than being treated so badly by these people.

LP&M is a wonderful place to rent from. I've been in my apartment unit for over 5 years now and i absolutely an not moving anywhere.. Managment there is awesome, they work diligently with you on a more personal individual basis. There are very proactive and professional. I was faced with financial hardship that led my account with LP&M to be delinquent for a long time. According to my lease i was charged late fees ans past due rent. I wasnt charged anything that wasn't in my lease agreement. I was facing an eviction due to my finanical hardship. I went in one day and told them my situation and

Lakeland prop and management have always been helpful and great with communication.
This is my second time renting apts through their company.
The staff is always so kind and willing to help with whatever I might need. Speedy with maintenance and always so welcoming when I come into the office.

They manage several properties for me and do a great job. Tenants stay for years as a result. They expect owners to keep up with their investments so the properties are in good shape for the tenants. They expect tenants to pay the rent and take care of the property. It's a pretty simple formula. Just be responsible and fulfill your obligations and you won't have any trouble.

I was displaced from the storm Irma and my move in was easy and I was given a move in date the house would be ready and it was. My experience renting from Lakeland Properties this past year has been quite pleasant. Any concerns I've had have been quickly addressed. I'm now working towards home ownership, however, I am renewing my lease but with the multiple options for the renewal terms this gives me the opportunity to choose a lease length that will work close to my timeframe for possible home purchase. I am a satisfied tenant.
