Services
Our records begin in 1918 when the business was owned by Charlie Johnson and known as Johnson Funeral Home. The business was sold to Walter W. Seaver and became known as W. W. Seaver Funeral Home. The original building was built in 1927 and remodeled in 1959. In 1973, the business was purchased by James X Sanders and became known as Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home.
We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. With online Arrangements, you can take your time to select the arrangements which are best for your preferences and budget.
Staff members of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Darrell and Michelle own and operate Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory and work together to keep the funeral home running smoothly.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.

Eli and his family were very kind, respectful, and helpful in a challenging time. I would only hope that when my time comes my family can find a place like Mullins to work with. Thank you, Eli.

I am type one diabetic I had a low blood sugar attack during my aunts funeral and they wouldn’t let me have juice inside. They told my husband they didn’t care and it wasn’t their concern. Staff is rude and unfriendly.

After experiencing the memorial service held today for those who had passed this year, I think we may have missed an opportunity.
That opportunity being, to thank Darrell and all the staff for the tremendous and heartfelt job they did, not only for our deceased family members but also for us.
The entire staff of Mullins Funeral Home go way beyond the norm to make this most difficult time a little more bearable.
For that, I thank you!

I made a mistake and went to mullins for my friends funeral not realizing it was somewhere else. The lady at mullins was very rude to me asking which obituary i read. Yes it was an honest mistake on my part. But the is no reason to be rude

My husband's family lost their mother. The people at the funeral home were a little pushy. The family wanted to get flowers from the florist they have always used but the funeral home was insistent who they dealt with and wanted to order it for them. When the family is paying for everything ($12,000) why can they get flowers from the business of their choice?

The staff at Mullins Funeral Home was exceptional. They helped with so many matters that I thought I would have to handle on my own. At such a difficult time they ask questions that made our decisions so much easier.
They keep touching our hearts as they planted a seedling in a national forest in our Mom's memory. I would highly recommend Mullins to everyone in need of their services and our family will continue to use their services as well. Thank you everyone at Mullins.
