I ordered the continental breakfast at Panty Cafe through EzCater.com for an all hands meeting and was unbelievably impressed! . The prices were a little on the higher end of some other offerings however they really knocked it out of the park! They were punctual, they offered to set up for me, and their fruit platter was the best I have seen! They absolutely put love and attention to detail in their work! They put our food on platters and drinks in nice buckets and then asked when was a good time for them to pick them back up! What great service! I will absolutely be using them again!

Ordered chicken marsala off the catering menu for an office event (ordered it off Waiter.com) for 13 people -- it is delicious and the amount of food was very generous. A large chicken breast for each serving -- cooked perfectly and very tender! It came with a generous tray of penne pasta and a generous and colorful tray of salad. Everyone was very pleased!

Food is okay, not the best. I wish they have more unique breads instead of just plain slices you can probably get at the grocery store. I got a Pastrami Swiss Panini and I expected a lot more from it. The Pastrami itself was a little to sour for my taste and overall I just felt like I could've made it at home. However, the sweet caramelized onion was a great touch, so well done on that!

I work in the same plaza and always see "Pantry Cafe" signs everywhere. One morning, I was starving so I stopped by to order a Breakfast Sandwich for $3.35 (before tax). They need to update their website because I thought I'd only be spending $2.75. I literally brought a bunch of change, but ended up not having enough. Good thing they accept debit (with no minimum purchase and no extra charge either). Credit card minimum is $10 though.

I've used Pantry Cafe (for catering only) a few times and "Henry" the owner has always been on time with his delivery. Food is always fresh and hot. Pantry Cafe is great for big meetings and catered lunches. I love the fact that Henry provides real chafing dishes and not the foil ones. I've ordered breakfast for 100pp and lunches for 20pp. Henry is very understanding and accommodating of our catering needs and I've called the day before to get lunch or breakfast catered in and never had an issue.

Pantry Cafe, aka The Artist Formerly Known as Sandwich Pantry, is a place I've driven past for well over 10 years. I never stopped by...and now I know why.
Ordered a hot pastrami sandwich...and while it was hot, they were not generous with the meat, cheese or mayo. I don't ask for much on a sandwich, but place pretty much made me not want to ever come back. I don't care if it comes back as a different iteration - if it still has sandwiches, I won't go there.

I've been using this place for years to cater my company meetings. Our meetings usually average 14 people and I order a hot main course, side, salad, cookies, and drinks. They are friendly and always get the order right. I've also ordered boxed lunches for smaller meetings and they turn out great. We have also held larger events and ordered sandwich, meat, cheese, and/or fruit plates. Or make your own sandwiches trays. And we have used them for breakfast buffets. I used to use a different event catering place in San Jose until I found this place. Love them!

I used to go here for lunch once in a while because my old coworkers were very loyal to the "grammas" here. This is a ery home-y sandwich shop located in the middle of work buildings. They have a variety of sandwiches, salads, and cookies...oh the cookies. My usual was the pastrami on dark rye - super filling. And the grammas would throw in a free cookie here and there. Very sweet.

I love the soups here. They have two home-made soups every day. My favorites are Navy Bean and Ham, Split Pea and Ham, Cream of Broccoli....and the lists goes on.
The sandwiches are good too. They usually have oven roasted turkey as a special.
