The process was pretty quick and simple. Everyone was super nice and communicated the process well. I do remember we had to wait a bit for the doctor to come over and place the brackets. I think they had to add more adhesive, but it was no big deal for me. I was comfortable enough even with that thing holding my mouth open, lol.

I have been a patient sense they essentially opened up. Great people working there, and very nice and general to have their hands in your mouth, if you know what I mean. They are all really nice, and will take care of whatever you need and have a problem with.

I've been a patient here for a little under a year and have had a really good experience with both metal braces and Invisalign. The staff is super friendly and professional and I really appreciate that whenever they are working on my teeth, they tell me what they are doing. I also really like the front office staff - they always greet me by name and have been awesome about squeezing me in a few times when I've had brackets come off / had an issue with one of my wires. Outstanding and amazing Orthodontic treatment with state of the art equipment. I am nearly 70 years old and it is my first orthodontic experience. Dr. Chatur and her staff are super friendly, cheerful, professional and talented. I felt the caring the moment I walked in her office.

Dr. Chatur , Dr. Tian, and their team do stellar work. I could not be more happy with my results. Further, they create a pretty amazing customer service experience (super important in healthcare, even during COVID). I am always greeted with a smile and hello and each interaction I had (I lucked out and worked with Kelly during regular appts, she is great) with every team member was high quality. Megan worked with me the through my entire treatment and she was so helpful and kind the entire time. Everyone at BA is very determined on giving you the best smile possible, even if your treatment is "over" they will perfect any minuscule detail to make sure you have a perfect smile. Came to Dr Chatur from a friend who highly recommended her. Not only did she do a good job but she exceeded my expectations. Let me explain. I need to wear mouth guard at night to prevent grinding of my teeth. However I hate the process of getting fitted. My last dentist was going use "putty" and make a mold. For some reasons it gives me anxiety and I just can't do it. When I had a consult with Dr Chatur, she was able to make me a mouth guard without using any "putty". She uses this 3D scanner that apparently makes an exact image / copy of my teeth. The process was so easy

My son was a patient of Dr Chatur for over three years. She attached a "nance" to his upper teeth. She left it in and never took it out. As a result he experienced halitosis and excessive plaque. We could not figure out why his breath was so bad as we were following both Dr Chatur's instructions as well as Dr Mamiko's (the adjoining pediatric dentist office). We were continually shamed by Dr Chatur for bad hygiene habits when in fact it was the "nance" that was the issue. I loved my experience here! They were super professional but also listened to my needs and did their best to tend to them. We were trying to figure out the best way to correct my crowding, I was so impressed with how thorough they were and weighed the pros and cons of each option. We have 3 kids, all of which are patients of Dr. Chatur and love, love, love her and Ballard Orthodontics. Our all-around experience has been nothing less than top notch. As soon as you enter the door you're greeted by the wonderful staff, with bright and friendly smiles. Making appointments are easy-breezy, whether by phone, email or text. I came to get an emergency removal of a retainer and had a great experience. I was concerned about the process and the outcome and everyone from the front desk to the doctor were reassuring and kind. Dr. Chatur explained my options with no pressure to do one or the other even though they could have "sold" me in to a lot more treatment in the moment. I was in Europe for 2 weeks when my lower fixed retainer broke. They were able to get me in right away. Front office is very professional. First time in the office and I was very impressed with the flow and even though they seemed busy, they were on time and spent quality time with me. My retainers feel smoother than ever. Dr. Chatur told me my teeth may have shifted during my trip. I'm impressed and really happy I have a local orthodontist I can trust! Great experience from start to finish. I had a very bad experience. First, our initial consultation was via phone for my daughter's treatment. On the first in-person meeting, Dr. Chatur did not even take the time to personally introduce herself or make us feel welcome. I have grave concerns about their hygiene, and at the second appointment my daughter had thrush. When I spoke to Dr. Chatur about her office's hygiene she became defensive and rude, rather than just changing her gloves like I politely asked. 》It's extremely difficult to get an appointment with them, I try to reschedule my initial visit 5 weeks ahead of time, receptionist can't fit me into the schedule and put me on a waitlist that does not exist. Now I am one month late with my appointment and I still didn't hear back from that "waitlist."
》If you need to be on traditional braces, go for another clinic. My brackets fell off at least 3 times during my treatment. They want to charge me extra fee because "I'm being so difficult

I am nearing the end of my invisalign treatment, and my experience here has been amazing. The office itself is very modern,clean and with plenty of parking in the complex in the back of the building. Making appointments is super easy and I've never been put on hold for longer than 2 minutes. Dr. Chatur is awesome and she really takes her time to listen to all of my concerns. I had to write a review because Dr. Chatur was such a wonderful angel to me yesterday. I came in very frustrated about some botched orthodontic work that I'd had done on the Eastside. She was generous and honest in explaining all of my options, and just so encouraging and warm and kind when I was overwhelmed about different costs and options. Dr. Shafeena Chatur and her entire staff are amazing. This is my second time getting orthodontic treatment (first attempt I was very young). Now in my 30's I wondered whether it was worth the time and money to do it again, especially with a busy schedule. Ballard Orthodontics made it so easy! They went above and beyond to accomodate me.They temporarily removed my brackets for my bachelorette and for my wedding. Then they switched me to aligners once I was eligible. My retainer recently broke and I was looking for an orthodontist nearby that could make a new one. I searched online and Ballard Orthodontics was the closest so I e-mailed them to see if this is something they could do. To my surprise I got a same day e-mail response and availability for me to come in early next morning and have it made while I waited.
