My granddaughters both go to Dr Nelson. Our first visit was so informative. Since then we forget one appointment, but they were so kind and understanding. One of my granddaughters lost her Invisalign and they gave us an appointment on the same day so she didn’t have to be without her Invisalign. I highly recommend Dr Nelson.

We have received the best care from Nelson Orthodontics! Personal calls from Dr. Nelson to explain and follow-up on treatment plans; rush appointments made to fix any issues that arose as well as quickly replace a lost retainer. We love the early hour appointment options to be seen before school and work. The staff and hygienists are always so patient and kind, explaining things to parents and kids together. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere - in both Magnolia and Ballard. And absolutely excellent care from Dr. Nelson!

We have had a great experience with Nelson orthodontics, from thorough initial consultations through phase 1 treatment thus far. Easy to make early a.m. appointments, and a few times we needed same or next day appointments and had no problem getting them set up. Dr. Nelson is professional and down to earth, and we have been quite happy with the practice.

My now 15-year-old son has been going to Nelson Orthodontics for years. The treatment has changed so much since I had braces as a teen - it's both faster and less invasive. Our son had two phases of braces and a Herbst appliance, with retainers in between to hold things until all of the necessary adult teeth filled in.
Overall, the service has been first rate and the staff worked to engage our insurance and then provide a range of affordable payment plans to make the process as painless as possible, for our child and our bank account.

My mom used to work for them years ago and they have fixed my teeth when I was younger!!! I went back about 5-6 years ago as I needed a new set of retainers and took my mom with me and Dr Paul Nelson was so happy to see my mom after so many years!!! Only two people work there (minus Paul) that worked with my mom. But they have taken good care of me (and for my mom when she worked there) so it’s always nice to see them when my retainers decide to crack in many different spots but I would refer anyone over there who needs braces

Nelson Orthodontics changed my life for the better by transforming my teeth from being crooked and having a huge overbite, to perfect and straight. Not only that, but they also gave me two wonderful sets of night guards that lasted for over ten years to maintain my smile. They were always professional and courteous, and even had a sense of humor in the clinic. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

I take my two kids to the Ballard office and we have had really great experiences. We consulted with one other ortho in the area and by far preferred the atmosphere and friendliness of Dr. Nelson's office. I like it so much I've decided to get some of my 1980s orthodontia spruced up a bit. Dr. Nelson himself is professional yet friendly and and all of the hygenists have been nice, too. When my son got his phase 1 braces off, they brought him a balloon, which I thought was a cute touch.
