A fourth-generation jeweler, her family's involvement in the industry dates back to 1895, when Marks Brothers Jewelry first opened on State St. in Chicago. The family's next endeavor, Whitehall Co. Jewelers, eventually grew to include 150 stores nationwide.

Alexandra Marks saved me! I needed to find something for my wife for our 5 year wedding anniversary after my original gift didn't make it in time. I was so glad that I found them and stopped in because they have a huge selection and were able to help me find the perfect replacement gift. The best part was that everyone there was awesome and they worked within my price range to help me find a pair of diamond earrings that she ended up liking more than the original! I love Alexandra Marks jewelry! First of all, their jewelry is gorgeous, and there is something for any occasion and price range. I have already purchased several items both for myself as well as gifts for friends in the 2 months since they opened. Their staff is so friendly, it gives the store a true neighborhood feel. Alexandra Marks jewelry store is fantastic!!! The space is beautifully laid out so it’s easy to browse and try on the unique and plentiful rings, necklaces and earrings. Yellow and rose gold along with silver pieces are fun to mix and match. The staff are friendly and helpful. I purchased pieces of jewelry for myself and gifts for family...we love everything! I have gotten a lot of compliments on my rings and earrings. I’ll be sure to return and check out their new jewelry soon!

I bought this beautiful ring and matching necklace. At the time of purchase I had issues with my card and the staff was kind enough to put it on hold for me until I resolved my credit card issue. I was pressed for time and needed it for an event. They were kind enough to re-try my purchase over the phone and had it delivered to me! It was above and beyond my expectation! I appreciated the premium experience while I shopped and tried on items while in the store but their commitment to service is why I am a huge fan! They have a beautiful selection at prices I can afford!

Beautifully designed store, with amazing jewelry at unbelievably affordable prices. I wear my Alexander Marks rose gold stacking rings with my wedding band and my tortoise shell hoops almost every day. What a great addition to the neighborhood! Highly recommend for gift buying or treating yourself to something special.
