The CMA:PTA is a volunteer program with the express purpose of creating a clear and open dialog between CMA staff, instructors, and parents. It meets periodically a few times per year to discuss a plethora of topics; including upcoming events, ideas for new events, volunteer opportunities for parents and students, the quality of instruction and customer service, details on curriculum, and many others.
For all ages (7yrs - Adult) this program will follow the traditional Shorin-ryu belt system of skill progression from our Basic Ranks to Black Belt and beyond! Includes admission to the Basic Family Class and Intermediate/Advanced Class (based on experience). For individuals seeking a more personalized approach to their training.
Intermediate Class is for students who have succeeded in passing their Orange Belt Kyu Exam and those seeking to review their intermediate level techniques and kata. This class includes curriculum from the Blue, Green, and Purple Belt kyu ranks. We raise the standard for student performance at this level to reflect the experience reflective of the rank.
