Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Value
Both of my younger boys have been going to Patten’s Martial Arts for a few years now. They thoroughly enjoy learning martial arts and interacting with Mr. Patten. I will continue to recommend Mr. Patten to any parent looking for a character building physical activity for their children.

Two of my boys have gone through Patten's, from white belt all the way to black belt. One started in the spring of his kindergarten year, the other was in fourth grade. We saw tremendous growth in their character as well as their willingness to learn. The younger one has sensory issues which relates to a lot of other things. All the instructors were great with him.
Over the two and a half years we were there, we saw many kids grow, some were clearly special needs, but it doesn't matter. Jason works to meet them where they are and move them forward. In his own unique way, he works to help them

I've been doing martial arts with the Patten family for a very long time now, and I cannot recommend their school highly enough. They have been such an important part of my life for years and I consider them some of my best friends. Thank you Patten's!

We love Mr. Patten! Fun, motivational and inspirational. He and his co-instructors have a wonderful way with children to teach firm discipline but most importantly to trust themselves and build confidence. Martial Arts is a way of life not a seasonal sport. Mr. Patten has created an environment for kids to be constantly working towards achieving new goals and encouraging them to work hard, be the best versions of themselves and be confident!

Hands down, the best school you'll find. The kids learn quickly, motivated by small goals, then bigger goals. When they meet a goal, the whole class is happy for them. They learn SO much more than just martial arts. They learn how to carry themselves with confidence. If they get into a tight spot, they learn how to defend themselves. They gain self-control and learn about the team mentality. Mr. Patten is dedicated to each and every kid in his school. This is one of the best experiences of my grand daughter's life to date.

One of the best investments a parent can make when it comes to shaping your child's future. We've been going since March, and my son has been dramatically influenced for the good. Mr. Patten is amazing with the children, from the little ones to teenagers. He earns, keeps, and demands respect of everyone for everyone. I could go on and on. Worth every penny, and the cost is not bad at all.

Jason Patten is an excellent martial arts teacher for children. My son started in first grade and has gone to Patten's Martial Arts for 6 years. Kids are taught respect and fundamentals for life. Kids that do well in school are rewarded with extra activities like skating parties and paintball. Adult classes are available too.

Patten's martial arts is a great choice for kids and adults looking for a local martial arts experience.
Description: Pattens teaches a custom style of martial arts with elements of Tai Kwon Do, Muy Thai, and ground fighting. The good side of this is that it exposes students to a wide variety of techniques; the down side is that if you move very far from Cincinnati, you will probably have to start over with a new style.
The lead instructor, Jason Patten, is really great at teaching people who have started out at different points - everyone from first timers, four year old kids, people with developmental
