Thank you! My hubby and I were celebrating our anniversary and he just reserved a standard room, but when we checked in and it was later in the evening, we received and upgrade! The chandeliers and room were French country and very lovely. We went to get a drink at the bar with about 45 mins to close and got free drinks! Another bonus! However, when we got back to the room, the heater wasn't working and I wasn't about to complain, but hubby wanted to make sure our evening went without a hitch. A phone call to the front desk and one very nice night engineer later advising us we couldn

Best service! A special shout out to Courtney and Brianna that help me and my husband have the best wedding ever! Food was awesome! Everything was perfect Thanks again girls for making this day extra special for us. Staff during wedding were great as well and helped out in what was needed! I would recommended Hotel Zaza for any special event. Rooms were comfy and clean! Loved my stay!

I absolutely adore this place: their patio is the perfect place to chill. Food is truly delicious and they are very generous with their drinks. Professional staff. Whenever I have a guest visiting from outside Houston, Monarch restaurant is the perfect spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Then, the view from the patio is spectacular!

Nice ambiance, good appetizers, but the entrees were bad- not flavorful at all. Spinach was way too salty, red fish was bland, the short ribs were very bland... I only ate my food because I was hungry and it was my first meal of the day. Probably wouldn't go back unless they have a good happy hour. The old fashioned was the best thing I had. This was not worth $120 (including drinks and tax). Based on quality should have been more like $50

I really like to be positive, especially regarding food, but I just can't be in this case. As far as the food, it was...good. As good as the menu price? Nope. (I'm not super cheap so don't take me for that, I pay for a good time). Now, understand that I didn't sample the full menu. We had soup, appetizers, and a couple cocktails. The service was negligible at best. The waiter literally left before taking all the entrée orders it was strange. More I could say on service experience but I won't. I'd say if you actually are looking for quality food and great service that makes you wanna tip to show

My sister and I had Saturday brunch about 2 weeks ago and we really enjoyed it. Our server was nice and attentive. My sister ordered an omelet and I the french toast based on our server's recommendation. My food was reallu delicious. Bread was super soft. It didn't harden as it got cooler like other bread would. They have a couple of tvs outside and they had the red river showdown showing. Ambiance was super nice. It was a chill environment and the greenery gave tropical/jungle vibes. We definitely enjoyed the weather while having brunch outside.

It says a lot about a hotel when you're there and already planning your next vacation. This was a continuation of my 40th birthday celebration and I had my heart set on Dallas! It was a awesome vacation within a vacation for my sister and I and the darling girl picked the very best hotel, in my opinion, to relax, rejuvenate, get sun, and have fun!
To me, the price point was great considering everything this hotel has to offer. First and foremost the service is the absolute best. They take great pride in treating their guests well and accommodating us so we don't have to ask for anything

This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful restaurant and a friendly bar. Write downtown and very close to everything you might want to do like go to the ball game or go to the museum of fine arts or I'm a fine art or gorgeous zoo you can go zoo it's very very close and you can go listen to a concert. If you're in downtown Houston spend A-day day or 2 visiting this part of town it's beautiful with all the old live oaks shaded lawns. It's all just lovely.

The best part of our experience was the view of the trees and museum district. The food was no better than ordering similar items at a chain like Denny’s. The pancakes at Cracker Barrel are actually way better. Something changed here in the last year or so. I remember wonderful breakfasts at the ZaZa in 2019. I think the servers were trying but there was not enough help for attentive service. People who dress up on a weekend morning and come downtown for brunch probably expect to drink coffee out of something other than paper cups.

If you are looking at a place to stay in Dallas... THIS IS IT. As a traveler, I have stayed at quite a few hotels but none compared to Hotel ZaZa. Truly unique & beautiful - and the service is incredible. If you can, try to stay in one of the "Magnificent 7" suites. Worth it to feel like absolute royalty!!!
Also make sure to also check out Dragonfly for dinner and get the chicken. Just do it. One of the best meals I have had with a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Hotel ZaZa, thank you for exceeding my expectations! I will be back!

We enjoyed our mini staycation here for a few days. The hotel was beautiful as usual and service was nice. If you go, plan to valet each night if you stay or have a ride share on deck to go out further. We were able to walk to most spots nearby that we wanted to try or ride the trolley.
The room was nice and comfortable. Very chic decor in the entire building. We didn't stop by the pool or restaurant but we did enjoy our stay. We did have an issue with housekeeping not stopping by while on the floor and oddly not as hospitable as you'd expect. But it's water under the bridge at

The Monarch is in the hotel which is dim lit with warm lights and live fish. The restaurant has a quiet yet sophisticated atmosphere. I loved the ambiance.
I ate the steak and eggs Benedict but replaced the steak with lox. I had a virgin piña colada which was sour (I wouldn't recommend).
The food is good but pricey considering the meal isn't great. The asparagus lacked seasoning, the potatoes were great, the eggs Benedict should've had the hollandaise sauce - if it did, I didn't taste it. The lox gave the eggs the additional saltiness I needed.
Parking is valet. They do parties of 6 or less

Like the boutique-feel of the hotel. The decor is modern but at same time vintage. Things look new, feel new, and clean. We left for dinner, and when we came back, towels were cleaned up etc.
TV channels were good variety, they even have HBO! Bed is comfortable, room is spacious with sofa, etc.
The only thing is, the temperature control: it was too hot with the blanket, and too cold without...
Lobby had cookies and water, which is nice.
