I have been practicing since 1993. Over the years, I have worked at a non-profit agency (YWCA in Monroe, La.), an in & outpatient psychiatric hospital (ETMC Behavioral Health Center, Tyler, TX), and a multi-specialty group practice (East Texas Mental Health Associates, Tyler, TX). I have been in solo private practice since 2007.
I am an in-network provider for most insurance companies. Clients are responsible for the copay/coinsurance amount IF there is mental health coverage. I encourage my clients to verify with their insurance company so they can be better informed BEFORE their first appointment. Please ask about your deductible and if your type of service is covered (marriage, individual, family).

My advice to you will be to not waste your time with this "counselor." My husband and I went to her for marriage counseling and after a few appointments she dismissed us claiming that she had nothing else to offer, this of course left us hopeless. So, few months after we actually ended up getting a divorce, all of this happened in 2015. What worked for us is to come to Jesus, he is the best counselor ever. After a year of being divorced we came back together and attended a Christian marriage retreat and now we been Remarried for more than 2 years. Thanks to God that filled our hearts with his amazing
