Providing the services that best suit your needs is an important part of successful therapy. Our first goal is to understand what you are dealing with and what you would like to work on. Strangely enough, figuring that out is not always an easy thing to do but Mindful Life Counseling Center is here to help people explore what will make them happier.
I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet your specific needs of my clients. I provide counseling support for adults with ADHD, depression, anxiety, life changes, and relationship issues. I have experience in administering testing batteries for psychological evaluations.
I am a therapist who understands that life can be difficult, but I also truly believe that we can create lives that are joyful. Learning how to balance those two different experiences can be hard. Understanding and accepting the pain we experience in life, while at the same time celebrating the wonderful things is incredibly important but surprisingly, not always easy do without help.
There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception. The first step in seeking therapy is to decide to do something about a problem you are experiencing. It is often a very scary decision for many reasons. Facing the unknown, deciding to make a change, and admitting weakness are all reasons people are hesitant to begin therapy.
The goal of counseling is to help you gain insight into your behavior, thoughts, feelings, speech patterns, and more. What might draw you to counseling? It's usually experiencing stress and tension, anxiety and depression, sexual and self-confidence issues, relationship turbulence, career confusion, or any other aspect of living or loving that doesn't feel right to you.
