Driver Defense Team consists of six traffic and DUI defense attorneys that work as a team. Driver Defense Team believes in removing the mystery surrounding traffic and criminal defense. When you hire our firm, we are committed to providing you the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding your case. We work hard to understand your unique situation and achieve the best outcome for you.
Using the Driver Defense Team website or submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Driver Defense Team or any of our attorneys. Driver Defense Team does not represent you until the firm determines there would not be a conflict of interest, and the firm officially informs you that it is able to accept the engagement.
Driver Defense Team consists of seven full-time traffic lawyers. This allows us to cover a wide geographical region in Chicago and the surrounding Illinois counties. We charge fair fees. Lawyers can only be in one place at a time. When a solo lawyer accepts a case, they have to turn down potential cases in all other courthouses.
We represent clients that received tickets or were arrested in Cook County, DuPage County, or Lake County, Illinois. We do not accept any cases outside of those 3 counties. We represent clients in 15 courthouses. We purposely limit our representation to these courthouses so we can be sure that we know the court's process and policies.

Best decision ever to call Driver Defense Team! We didn’t understand that driving over a certain speed limit was a misdemeanor offense and more serious. We didn’t have a lawyer at the first hearing and we’re confused about why it was being extended. The team at DDT were absolutely amazing. I was found not guilty for my DUI case and am currently in the process of regaining my driving privilege's. Just a little back story- didn’t know I needed an attorney for the ticket I received until my second court date. I have used Driver's Defense Team, in the past. But this time, i had to contact them again, due to receiving a speeding ticket, from trying to get away from being followed by another motorist. As I was speeding away and being heavily pursued, i pulled aside when I notice a police nearby. I felt relieved, but I was the one wrongly ticketed.
