SO AMAZING! We took the tram and stayed the night backpacking San Jacinto, then headed to Desert Riviera to relax and unwind. It was absolutely fabulous and has everything you could want/need. We lounged by the pool, rode the tandem bike to brunch, shopped around, walked to the best bars and restaurants for dinner and drinks, made a pizza in the oven, and made the best memories. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and fun. I am gifting my parents a weekend stay here for Christmas!

Free use of bikes and golf clubs. About 30min walk to centre, bus stops outside. Restaurants within walking distance. Overall a excellent hotel for couples..

LOVED our short stay. The bed was comfy and everyone was friendly. We were there on a Thursday and were meeting friends downtown for dinner and decided to ride a tandem bike for the mile+ it was going to take, not realizing there is a festival every Thursday. It was a good choice, because our friends could not find parking nearby and had to park far away anyway. Nice amenities and will stay again!

It doesn't get any better than this when it comes to getting the superstar treatment. Spent an extended weekend here last month and so this review is highly due!

Every staff member in this place greeted us with a smile and genuine courtesy. The facility is clean, well maintained & lush. The entire compound is encased in tall hedges, adding to the sense of the perfect, quiet, desert getaway!

All in all, our stay was wonderful and I'm definitely going back. Make sure you book your dates WAY AHEAD of time, because this place sells out fast!

Very clean and well maintained mid century lodging in Palm Springs. Very private feeling pool area and the staff all go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They have grills, daily popcorn, fire pits, corn hole, magazines, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. all available for guest use. They also have bikes you can use, DVD's... you name it. An excellent choice in Palm Springs, highly recommended!

Stayed here for a birthday weekend with my husband. Relaxing, quiet place to rejuvenate and reconnect. Coming in from the heat to relax in our cool and quiet corner room was everything we needed. Definitely have to agree with everyone's comments on the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. Sophia, Dawn and Misty were amazing. As stated in the overall info on yelp about the hotel, it is not a good place to bring kids as it is small and the clientele was mostly couples. There did seem to be a few larger groups staying there but everyone was on the older side.

Small beloved hotel. People from all over stay here. Brits, Canadians, etc. Rooms are comfy and staff very attentive. Directly across the street, Ace Hotel's fun diner: King's Highway for lunch or dinner. Great area and gorgeous landscaping!

From the beautifully maintained gardens and immaculate rooms surrounding a sparkling pool, this chic, boutique hotel with a terrific 60s charm is the perfect getaway!
Quiet, close to the center of PS, it is a great base for exploring the desert cities...or not!... Many guests choose to spend their days relaxing on the premises, riding their bikes, lazing on the pool lounges, and taking advantage of all the amenities the hotel offers.
High quality towels, robes, sunscreen, juices and muffins, kitchen and laundry facilities, and even popcorn in the afternoons.... nothing is missing from this great

We visited this hotel for the 1st time while playing in a golf tournament. What a gem, the Desert Riviera is a step back in time. I was so impressed with how well everything fit into place to make me and my wife so comfortable. It's as if someone looked at every inch of this property and asked, "What can I do to make this section better?" Improved it and then asked the same question year after year after year making every detail better. It's evident the owner cares and has given the staff the autonomy to manage the property as if they owned it. We turned the car around

They do a nice Continental breakfast and even provide some snacks and beverages in the room. The Manager, Misty, was so kind and eager to make sure all was well in our room.

I had sudden change of travel plans last week and decided to head to the desert for a few days to relax and nourish my soul. Due to spring break, my usual haunts were fully booked. One recommended their sister property, The Desert Riviera. I am so happy to have found my new favorite place to stay in Palm Springs! I booked 3 nights, stayed 4, and would have extended another, but there was no availability. I prefer small hotels over large resorts. The quiet was bliss. The grounds are simply beautiful with a variety of areas and furniture where you can read, eat, relax and even nap. My room was spacious

When a guest sees "water and sugar" bottle for the beautiful Desert Riviera Hotel humming birds in the clean, well stocked and very accessible 24/7 communal kitchen says it all for the thoughtfulness, cleanliness and attention to detail with everything about my DRH amazing experience. From Outside communal bbq, to beyond attentive service; Ashley, Misty, Neal (the owner) just have absolutely mastered an experience that the guests never have to think about anything. I was called by Misty on my way for parking, gate access code and directions an hour out. I was greeted with a beer and

Stellar experience for my husband's 50th birthday, as we were looking for a few days of relaxation and easy fun in Palm Springs. Now, we are lifetime Platinum Marriott people who rarely deviate from Marriott because of all the perks we get. For this birthday surprise, my husband wanted to go quaint and boutique, to avoid crowds for our getaway.

I researched extensively and finally chose the Desert Riviera, having never seen nor stayed there before. As it turned out, this place was everything I'd hoped for and more! Our room was full-blown decorated with streamers, balloons, and a

This is a great little boutique hotel, particularly for people like my wife and me who like peace and quiet. I think it's adults only, first of all, so that is a plus for us. But there are a lot of things to like about this place besides the peace and quiet. It's right off the main road (I think Palm Canyon Drive or something) but still quiet and residential in feel.

It's got a nice swimming pool, hummingbirds that will feed right off your hand, all the pool accessories, PLENTY of food choices (meaning both breakfast and snacks), and get this - a pizza oven (pizzas in the freezer

COVID update- Monica and Sara are the hard-working housekeepers here. They are working tirelessly to ensure the safety of the guests. Everything gets sanitized after guest use. I haven’t seen either of these ladies rest since we’ve been here. Extremely grateful for them and their efforts.
I have never stayed at such an amazing place before, and my family has traveled extensively. If I could package this property up and travel with it (including the manager, Misty), I would take it on every vacation. Such a special place with so many amenities. Only into day one and it feels like home

My work as a live announcer has taken me to many fine hotels across this great land and beyond. The Desert Riv' has them all beat.

Because...

The countless cool amenities - many unexpected. The A+/5 Star Service and genuinely happy attention. The thoughtful aesthetic beauty of this tiny off-the-beaten-path gem. The comfortable and smashingly-appointed MCM rooms nodding to the groovier times past (with things like a conversation firepit and a pizza oven) but firmly planted with contemporary luxuries. It really doesn't get any better...right down to the Aromatherapy vitamin-infused shower

This spot is a little piece of paradise. I love it here so much. I have stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. This last time was great! The manager Misty Roland is the best, and her customer service is on point! She is wonderful host with great energy. My guest and I felt sooo welcomed. Our room was super clean as always, and they were on top of sanitizing everything. Best part for me is the no children and pets. All the perks that come with staying there are fun as always. The Desert Riviera is my favorite little hotel of all time. The decor is cool, modern, and beautiful. The grounds are kept up beautifully, and they have done a tremendous job to make the most out of their space. It's truly unique! You can tell the owner is passionate and proud about his work and hotel. In fact, he's usually around to chat with, and super cool! Of course, if you prefer the quiet you certainly won't be bothered or disappointed.
The vibe here is so relaxed, down to earth, friendly and easy. That have all sorts of amenities and toys, even bikes for you to use
