We are located right on the main street in the bustling and happening Alberta Arts District, in NE Portland. We are steps away from unique shops, exciting and lively nightlife, and delicious restaurants. I stayed at the Alberta Petite Hotel for an extended stay this summer and can confirm that it is a great place to stay. Right in the heart of Alberta neighborhood. The house is charming, clean, and has all the amenities you need. And Robin is really responsive with any needs.

I visited Portland for a training in the Alberta district and needed a place to stay within walking distance. The Alberta Petite Hotel was perfect. Lots of attention to detail. I chose to check out local restaurants for breakfast so I didn't eat there but the options were could had I chosen to do that.

Recommend this lovely without reservation. Very pleasing to the eye and spirit--thank you! Just know that you share a bathroom which is the only thing that was a little odd. Although if you are aware and not bothered will make this a five star for you!
Crispy clean and perfect (not practically, but actually) for the venue genre. There are two parking places in the back so you might not have to park on the street which for us was a concern since we have a car that would attract attention from the local rascals.
As one reviewer noted, the Petite does represent the spirit of kindness, acceptance

Stayed 2 nights, terrific location with great eateries nearby. Comfortable and spotless room (we were in Bamboo) with shared bathroom, though only shared with one other room. The owner provides a hypo-allergenic environment with locally sourced supplies, all lovely quality. Breakfast is serve yourself with plenty of variety. We will return and expect to make this our base for future Portland visits. Many small touches for a unique and delightful stay.

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. We were impressed at how much thought was put into each and every detail of the stay from high quality breakfast options, zero waste amenities, and how the hotel told the story behind each choice. Can't recommend it enough. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer to try out all of the fantastic nearby restaurants in walking distance.

The Alberta Petite Hotel is the gem of the Alberta District. Comfort, convenience and caring is what The Alberta Petite Hotel is all about. The hosts, Robin and Brian have thought of every detail - from the welcome message when you walk in the front door to the list of local restaurant favorites, free breakfast, fabulous kitchen and living room. It's all clean, beautifully appointed, comfortable and welcoming. The Maple room is the best!

This beautiful hotel will not disappoint! Sparkling clean, wonderful amenities provided and located on vibrant Alberta Street! I stayed in the Spruce Room and was blissfully happy in the comfy, quiet space. The kitchen was full of goodies and located near great restaurants and coffee shops. I will definitely be back!

Robin is a SWEETHEART! Made our stay so welcoming, comfortable, and easy. Constant communication. Straightforward access and living. Loved the communal kitchen and the emphasis on local brands (oh, and dietary restrictions). Felt more like a B+B. Robin thought of every single detail and thoroughly explained everything. Loved the overall stay. Smack in the middle of Alberta Arts and surrounded by city life. Easy street parking. Would 110% recommend.

I was looking for a great spot and I found it, Beautiful hotel that was close to my sisters and the attention to detail was astonishing. Within walking distance to restaurants of all different types, Just Bobs was great and Great Notion Brewery was so good. Bars from fancy to neighborhood (Binks & The Knock back). My sisters and I took over the top floor and next time probably the whole place since the rest of the family was so jealous, it was nice to have my own room. Coffee was delicious, I was on vacation so no making waffles for me, a few more bagels or muffins would have been great there

I can't say enough good things about our stay. We were only there overnight, but wished we could have stayed longer. We loved the environmentally friendly details and friendly and helpful hosts. We met the other guests and everyone was so interesting and nice. Would definitely return if in the area again. Host recommended a great restaurant nearby which was amazing.

We made a reservation due to the great location in the neighborhood and within walking distance for attending a concert at the Alberta Rose Theater. We received details on how to check in a few days prior to our stay as well as a day of check in to make sure we did not have any food allergies and received those instructions.
Later in the morning on our check in date, there was a major water main break in the area. The owner, Robin, notified us immediately and shared updates as the situation progressed. In the early afternoon she let us know that we should probably find alternative accommodations

Super cute and sustainably-minded, great rate and surprisingly quiet for being right on Alberta! The bed was a little soft for my taste but my husband slept well, and it would be great to have the light in the hallway dim or something at night so that the edges don't shine into the room, but other than that it was a really lovely little spot, and we never knew there was anybody else staying there it was that quiet! lots of nice little details if you're not familiar with Portland (even bike helmets) so while we are from here originally, I would definitely recommend this for newcomers!

Was looking for a nice place to stay in Portland for the first time... something about major chain and airport hotels most of the time in general and/or in the area that was just off putting. I wanted that welcome sense of neighborhood and community I'm always hearing about in "Portlandia" and lucked into this diamond in the rough.
The Alberta Petite Hotel is a peachy home and comfort B&B inn style hotel. Not only do you feel safe, warmth and a cup of cozy comfort all at once, but you great amenities and options for breakfast.
The APH is easy to access both the main entrance
