Services
Not too long after I was hooked and filled with passion for BBQ. I started catering events and repeatedly my customers and friends would ask, "Hey Gebby, when are you going to open up your own place?" This set the wheels in motion! For years folks have called me "Gebby" so naturally, Gebby's BBQ seemed fitting.
We lightly season our chicken overnight, then slow cook it for a few hours over Apple and Post Oak wood until the result is so tender it might be illegal. It will melt in your mouth! Gebby's selects the finest pork butts to slow smoke for 20 hours. What we do next is a trade secret, but trust us you won't miss the fat.

I cannot speak highly enough about Gebby's catering! I hired Gebby's food truck for my wedding and they absolutely did not disappoint. My friends and family all raved about their BBQ and thought the food truck really added to the "Austin experience" (none of us are from Austin). Elizabeth, the head of catering, was extremely attentive, timely, and so very sweet. Chris, the owner, reached out himself about the truck set-up. Gebby's is AMAZING! We had them cater a denim and diamonds party for us and Elizabeth and Pit Master Chris were a dream come true. They are friendly, fast, have a great price point and are so knowledgeable PLUS the food it incredibly delicious! We had Gebby's BBQ at a friends party and was blow away so we used them to cater my husband's 40th birthday . The brisket is melt in your mouth amazing. The sausage has a little kick of spice and is to die for as well. Kids and grown ups loved the gouda mac and cheese as well as the cream corn. All still delicious as left overs. They will be my go to for catering in the future.

I had Gebby’s BBQ when I was in Austin and it was absolutely amazing. I live near Memphis TN and I would say that Gebby’s is better than any BBQ I’ve had in the Memphis area (or elsewhere). The Brisket, pork, and chicken are so tender and juicy and the Mac and cheese is off the chain!! The BBQ sauce is excellent as well. I ordered some online last week for the Super Bowl and it was delivered quickly and the reheat instructions included were super easy! I would highly recommend Gebby’s BBQ if you are ever in Austin or just want to have some shipped to your home!!

I tried the pulled pork sandwich with slaw and I wouldn't change a thing about it if I could. This sammy was perfect my friends. Texas is all about the brisket and so many restaurants approach pork as a way of making the brisket last, just an afterthought. This place does in just right so it's cooked and seasoned just right. I will be back, soon.

This review is for their catering service. I work for a government entity and we are required to receive numerous quotes before choosing a vendor. We found Gebby's BBQ to be reasonably priced compared to other Austin BBQ restaurants. From the beginning, both Chris (The Owner and Master Pit Man) and Elizabeth to be extremely professional and prompt. Any questions or changes needed on the quote, they were on top of anything we needed. The day of the event, they arrived early as they said they would and set up quickly. The aroma of the food was wonderful throughout our venue.

I cannot speak for the catering, but the food truck itself is pretty good! I think got the bacon gouda Mac and cheese and the chopped brisket sandwich. The bacon on the Mac n cheese wasn't anything special- I would recommend just getting the normal Mac!! Still pretty good. The brisket taco was good, but nothing special. I think it would be a great catering option.

I highly recommend the chicken tacos! I got them with no coleslaw because I'm picky so it was just chicken in a tortilla and I was worried it would be too plain. It was sooo good! The tortilla was fresh and the chicken was plump and juicy. I still salivate thinking about it. The service was friendly and smiling while taking my order and I was shocked how fast my name was called. Did I mention the side of Mac and cheese??? Omg! Sooo good, with cheesy, soft, long noodles and tiny chunks of bacon buried throughout the cup this was one of the best lunch combinations I have ever had. It was filling

As I was looking around at the different food truck menus, I saw that this one offered tacos. That sounded like the perfect light bite to have before going out so I ordered their BBQ chicken taco.
Oh man, it was delicious! It was a nice size. The tortilla was good, the chicken was not all greasy and drenched in BBQ sauce. It was a nice, smokey cut topped with coleslaw for that nice crunch.

I was at the Austin Rodeo and looking for something good to eat. While most food items there are fried whatever's I spotted this food trailer. I never seen it before and wanted to try their bbq. Great looking trailer and waited in line to order. I decided get a sliced brisket sandwich with chips. Apparently there were not allowed to sell drinks at this event but I was already planning to get a beer at the craft beer tent.
Soon my food was ready and looked great. I took it into the craft beer tent and ate it. The bbq tasted great and was very moist. I was impressed and glad I made

I can't say enough about how great my experience has been with Gebby's BBQ and Catering. The food was DELICIOUS and the staff were GREAT!!! I had never used a caterer before Dec. 10, 2017. I will definitely refer Gebby's to all family and friends. They were gracious, courteous and well trained in their job. the owner Chris even stopped by to make sure we were happy. What a GREAT experience!

Tasty BBQ! We visited the food truck on 360 with our Passbook coupon book. We tried the chicken and pulled pork plates, both with mac and cheese and beans. The pulled pork and beans were delicious! Mac and cheese wasn't as cheesy as I would have liked, but still tasty. There is shade at the food park at certain tables. The meat plate was plenty of food for one person and the BBQ was so good!
