Phoenix came to a home we were renting in Kahala to take photos of my husband and I with our four kids as well as my parents. She took the time to chat with me prior to the shoot about the time of day and the images that were most important to me.
We had a mix of candids and posed shots and each was perfectly framed and beautifully lit with the perfect scenic backdrop. My children are older so they were not too difficult but my mother was quite a chore. Phoenix handled her with the grace & patience of a saint! I will definitely use KM Ivelisse in the future!

My name is Phoenix and I giggle every time I tell new people. I often get called Kim because my business name. What does KM Ivelisse stand for? My two girls. Kailani is my oldest daughter and Moana'leia is my youngest. Both of their middle names as well as my mother's is Ivelisse. I wanted to keep this business as close to my heart as possible and what better way than dedicating it to the three women (and girls) in my heart.
Let's leave the kiddos at home for these sessions and document the foundation of your family. No children yet? That's fine! These moments with just the two of you are sure to be cherished even if and when the family count goes up. Romantic and goofy are how my couple's sessions are run. Perfection is not required but public display of affection is most definitely recommended!
I only allow immediate family members. Aunts, uncles, cousins etc. will incur an additional fee depending on how many people are added. I stay at our session the entire time I am hired for. If you hire me for two hours and come at the last 20 minutes, we will only have a 20-minute session. Please be prompt!

Photography is about capturing souls, not smiles. If you can make even the darkest photo into light, you have a gift.
