We recommend that you give yourself some time and really think carefully about the outfits you will wear on the day of your session. After all, these will be pictures that you will look back on 20 years from now and say "whoa" I was young! LOL. Seriously though, think timeless, not trendy.

Hands down recommend Kip and Kristi for all your photo needs. Kip and Kristi are SO AMAZING!! They are responsive, friendly, professional and exceptionally talented. 10/10
I've taken family photos with them a couple of times now and the results have always been beautiful! I have a toddler too so taking pictures can be tricky. But they have a way with kids and getting their attention. They made my baby girl giggle and laugh. Also, my husband and I don't know how to pose at all for photos so they gave us direction and made us feel comfortable, smile and laugh throughout the photoshoot

Kip and Kristi were so amazing! They made my husband and I feel so comfortable, really guided us through the photos. They turned out so amazing. They do a great job of capturing the beauty of the scenery and the passion in a shots. They had many unique ideas which resulted into some great shots! We loved working with Izumoto Photography. Before the shoot, Kristi was extremely helpful and patient, providing long and thoughtful suggestions to location and outfit that are best tailored to our needs. During the shoot, it feels like you are getting twice out of the price you are paying as the two of them try to capture the valuable best moments simultaneously with different lens and cameras. My son was diagnosed with Chalazion a few months ago and we were told to keep his eye out of the sun. With that being said, we were mostly looking for a photographer who had a studio. I stumbled upon Izumoto Photography on Yelp and saw all of the 5 star rating reviews and decided to contact them. I heard back from Kristi within an hour and although they didn't have a studio, she suggested a couple of locations where there are trees that could provide shade. Wait what? How are there not a gazillion 5 star Yelp reviews for Izumoto photography?! Oh right- because most everyone is a procrastinator like yours truly who had our session with them on 7/5/19 and it's now 5 days away from the new year!!! I worked with Kristi through messages and emails to book a family photoshoot for the time we were going to be in Oahu. The process was easy and Kristi was quick to respond to our questions.They wanted to understand what drew us to their photography and what we want from the photoshoot so they help us plan it accordingly. We were so pleased to find Kristi and Kip (the best duo). They were so reliable and fast in communicating with us via email since we had to set up everything remotely from our hometown (Vancouver, Canada).
They were so flexible and understanding with respect to sudden weather changes in Oahu.

This review is long overdue. My husband and I had a photo shoot with Kristi and Kip two years ago when we were just girlfriend and boyfriend. My husband actually proposed to me during the photo shoot without informing Kristi or Kip. Though they were both very surprised, they still captured amazing photos of our proposal. I really enjoyed working with Kip and Kristi of Izumoto Photography. They came highly recommended from our friends and when we went to Hawaii a couple of years ago, I seized the opportunity to take family photos by them. They totally exceeded our expectations and were able to take some beautiful pictures of our toddler! Kristi and Kip Izumoto were absolutely perfect for our wedding day! The day of our wedding which took place outside, it rained pretty much the entire time. Not only did they both cope with the rain, kept my spirits up, and dealt with my crazy all-over-the-place family, they were able to capture amazing shots! They arrived early and were able to coach us both through the "first looks" process. They also took a variety of shots before the ceremony on the hotel grounds, in the ceremony garden, and at the reception. I loved that they offered smaller package times than the average photography

Kristi and Kip were so awesome! Our wedding officiant hired them as our photographer and they did an amazing job! I didn't even need to meet them before hand to discuss the kind of photos I was looking for, they got it all taken care of! In fact, I had no idea what I wanted besides a funny shot, but they were able to suggest all sorts of poses from cute to romantic to awwww.

Kristi and Kip were AMAZING!!!! My husband and I planned an intimate destination wedding in Ewa Beach, HI from Las Vegas and I was a bit hesitant to hire a photographer without meeting them but they exceeded my expectations. They arrived early to my beach house and made us feel very comfortable and at ease before, during and after the ceremony. The pictures took a little while to be ready, but it was SO worth the wait because they were beautiful. They captured all of our special moments and then some. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for professional photography in the Honolulu

Kip and Kristi were truly outstanding. They don't gauge you on the price just because they hear the word wedding, though for the quality of work they give you they could. Our photos turned out beautifully but that's not the only thing that matters when working with someone on your wedding day. Kip and Kristi were professional, flexible, and timely (even if we weren't). Kristi communicated with me multiple times before the wedding, offering helpful advice when I asked. These two are wonderful! We booked them for our engagements a couple months back, and they will be photographing our wedding in march. They are super easy to work with and captured exactly what I wanted. We had our photos taken outside, we wanted to do sunset but they suggested surise instead due to overcorwding on the beach, etc. I am truly taken away at the quality of the photos and the great use of lighting. The editing on the photos is also amazing.

All I can say is WOW! Kip and Kristy Izumoto are new parents to a baby boy so they know how important it is to capture moments. You can't just tell a kid to smile. You have to make them laugh or smile and try to capture it with a flick of a finger. They understand this very well. I hired this duo to take pictures of my kids and my niece. My mom wanted one large good photo of them for her living room.
I let them know that this was primarily a photo shoot for the three kids but I wanted some photos of just my kids and a few family portraits of just my family. They coordinated it perfectly
