Amazing people to work with. I have been renting from them for 4 years now. They don’t cheat you on application fees. If you put in a request for maintenance you can actually speak to a local rep for the company and they resolve the issue quickly. Hands down the best company I have ever worked with!

First red flag, you'll never meet John Haas personally. He has no office address, only a P.O. Box, and will send his affiliates out to show you the home and assist in the move out inspection. (typically different people)
Second red flag: no grace period for rental payments. Rent is due on the 1st; absolutely no exceptions. If you can pay on the 2nd, which I had to do a few times, a 10% fee incurs.
At one point I was three days late, sent in the payment, and was greeted by a Sheriff posting an eviction notice on my door on the same day, despite the rent and late fee being paid only

I looked at a home listed for rent and spoke to an agent to schedule an appointment to view the home. I received a text to confirm the appointment and was told to confirm 24 hours before by text or phone. Because I travel weekly (which I explained) I sent two texts to confirm. Although my flight was late I was accommodated for the viewing by texting. Here's where the 3-star comes in. I get to the home wait for the agent and he lets me in. Bear in mind he was in touch as I was leaving the airport and heading 50+ minutes north from Fayetteville (I sent my ETA). Now at the house I am looking

Highly recommend. I contacted John Haas when our long term tenant moved out and we were no longer in the area to manage the property ourself. John And his team found us a great tenant who eventually purchased our rental. John also assisted us with the sale which closed this past November.

Haas Properties rented my property for 6 years. However, we enabled the rental listing through MLS as our property was higher value.
They were very thorough with the on boarding of potential tenants and being 1000+ miles away, we slept safe at night.
During the years there were a few incidences that required immediate action. Haas Properties acted and rectified the problem(s) promptly coordinating through their network of qualified contractors.
In one case we had to replace the refrigerator. They kept an eye on cost and made sure the replaced appliance was in accordance to the houses requirements

What a great experience! We decided to make our home a rental property and after researching several property management companies, we chose Haas. They had a smaller amount of listings under them allowing for more personalized care of the properties, and superior knowledge of the rental market in comparison. We have not had even a single month of non-tenancy. John and his team have found us a new and reliable tenant each time. Haas has been an advocate for the tenants. Extremely unprofessional! I tried to view a home listed for rent, was the first to call and schedule a showing the very next day and was promised to be the first to see it (yada-yada). A couple of hours before my appointment, I reached out to them to confirm, was told that the tenant was not ready and we re-scheduled. When I checked to confirm my re-scheduled appointment, the very next business day, (I was never notified of the showing being off, and again, I had to call first), I was given the runaround and didn't know what was going on. I first started with Haas Properties four years ago. I wasn't able to sell my home at the time and was too busy to handle having a renter. It was my first time renting a home and Haas properties made it seamless and effortless. I never had to contact the renter. They are complete crooks and only want your money. John himself, is very rude and does not have an ounce of customer service skills. He talks to you like you aren't a human being. My family and I stayed in a home managed by Haas properties for one year. They give no grace period to have your rent in, it had to be in by the first or else they wanted 10 percent additional. Normally a grace period is given until the fifth of the month then a late fee is applied. However, my garage door broke and I did not get it fixed until a month later, and every time I called about it, I was told that they were

Pleasant experience from the first phone call. I have been renting through Mr. Haas and team for a few years now. Every issue with the rental house was taken care of within a day or two. I have had work done on the AC unit and the garage door. Both technicians that were sent out were awesome people and I will definitely use their services again. I've rented quite few houses and apartments in my days. Haas and team are by far the best company I've done business with, without a doubt. John Hass and his team have been managing my property for a number of years. They always keep the home owner in the loop and look after the property as if it were there own home. I have not had a bad tenant as yet, They screen the tenants and insure that they work with the tenant and the homeowner. I would recommend John and his team if you are looking for a very well managed property team. They have a great network of home repair professionals at reasonable rates if something is broken or in the need for repairs.
